You know we love this piece---it encompasses the French Bulldog personality, especially our little "Daisy". I have always treasured the sculptures you did for us of Daisy and Nora many years ago---they are perfect to us.

It's disappointing when we have something visualized in our head and it doesn't come out how we thought. But that doesn't mean others don't like, because I had nothing in my head. And now I see a nice lantern. I like the colors and I get the feeling of flowers or buds.

The tree trunks are my favorite. The trunks remind me of a music video from the song "Groove is in the Heart" by Deee-lite. I also like the baby mushrooms growing up under the larger one.

If I saw this piece in person, I'd want touch it to feel the textures. I enjoy art that invites you to touch it. The texture in the water in the water gives a sense of movement.
