When I saw this picture, I thought that you might be in trouble! Ha! Ha! It reminds me of your mom in a jogging suit with an expressionless face. (Or possibly the Grim Reaper?) Nice job with proportion and color. Interesting expression of your interests and personality!

Alden, Grandpa and I LOVE your circles ideas! you have a wonderful imagination and your creativity is "shining through". We've always loved your onion dude, but all the others are awesome too. G'pa's favorite is the eyeball. I don't really have a favorite, but I'm really liking your shark and bumblebee! Nice ideas-great job!

Alden, I really like this piece especially the foreground colors with their blends of orange, yellow and greens. The movement and textures that you've created with lines and shapes remind me a bit of several works by Vincent Van Gogh. He created a series of paintings focusing on wheat fields. Your picture is of corn and not wheat, but it's expressed in the same manner as Van Gogh's "Wheat Field with Sheaves and his "Paris Wheat Field.
