Very Nice! The bold, rich colors you used pair well with the words. (We think those are words - Grandpa and I could only read a few of the words - Grandpa found cooperation. I found "TED", if I squinted just right.) Thank you for sharing your art with us. I can hardly believe all the wonderful things you are learning and doing in your art class. Your art makes us smile. Thank you! Love you dearly, grandma and grandpa.

What an artist you are becoming! My deary, I'm very impressed with your arty skills and talents. Grandpa and I don't have any idea how you made this amazing piece of arty-ness. I hope you can show me how you made it. (I'm thinking you might have used the medium pen and ink.....marker? oil pastels? crayons? colored pencils? Yes?) Are you interested in showing me how you made this latest art piece? Perhaps on a zoom? And, If not - or you're just too busy now - trust me, I get it - and it's all oaky-dokey. I can patiently wait. No worries here. Check your calendar - and let me know. (I will bring the snacks!)

And .... also noticed. Are you wanting to change the spelling of your name? Or - have you changed the spelling and I just never got the message? OR did someone else create this art piece....hum. What does it all mean. What does it mean. Hummmmmm........

Grandpa just saw your self-portrait. He said, "That's pretty cool!" And then, we both just stared at it. I like how you used your name - and your hand writing in this art piece. I was wondering - since not every "McKenna" shows every letter - Did you trim this after you were finished? Or....Did you work on this with a larger piece of paper under it? I bet you thoughtfully thought about your art, art room, materials and art teacher ..... and protected the table - and with style and flair, finished your art piece. (Am I right?) Keep on arting! -grandma

Grandpa and I like the movement you are now getting in your pictures. Your sidewalk is showing signs of up and down movement. You're getting lots and lots of movement in your art. (I don't know how to do that....could you show me?) And I like your Hogwarts Castle - it's just as much fun as your sidewalk. Keep art-ing. Grandpa and I can't wait to see your next art project.

Thank you for showing me your latest art piece. I enjoyed our conversation. I don’t understand how you are able to draw hills that roll and pictures that have width, length and depth. Your art skills are improving every time you finish and art project. Keep on drawing!

Grandpa really really likes this one. Grandma thinks this one is his favorite. I could tell this guy was catching snowflakes. We just love your tall sunflower! The black lines around the petals and on the leaves really make it stand out against the colors in the back. It reminds us of the sunflower that grew in our yard last summer. It was our Bonus Flower - growing from a seed that spilled out of the bird feeder. Your art is so cool!!
