The color movement in this piece is exciting. I can almost hear the music. It makes me want to stretch, jump, and dance! Love you! Omi

When I look at this, I can smell all the wonderful ingredients of your soup. It makes me hungry! Can I have your recipe? Seriously Lyddie you're showing signs of a great artist, you make your viewer excited for your next work of art! Love you, Omi

I haven't seen this one either. At first glance I see a house and then see that house tumbling but I'm not sure if that is what you see. It's almost like seeing things in the clouds - it's so much fun to find the different things that sometimes only your eyes can see. I'd love to hear what you were thinking when you made this. There is so much movement.

How did I miss this? I love the weaving nature of this beautiful gingerbread house. This is very much how quilts are put together. Let me know if you are ever interested in making quilts - I would love to teach you.

This is such a beautiful picture! I always try to imagine how it is made. Did you sketch it out and then color the background? Also, I love the creativity of the positions. Can you do that last one? I sure can't. Never could. I also think there was serious planning with the colors - the way they work together especially diagonally but at the same time seem to compliment each other. The overall effect is stunning. Well done little artist!!

I really like this piece, Lydia. I see a person in different dance poses. I really like your choice of colors and designs in each square. It makes each pose really stand out.

Lydia, this piece is stunning! The different shades of green make it feel so real and alive - especially the lighter green. The mushrooms make me smile because not only do they look like mushrooms - i can imagine them being little people too. This is a beautiful piece. Love Nana

Hi Lydia, I saw this picture and knew right away what it was. Your robot is awesome!!! That has to be a mountain of snow behind the robot and I now know how to draw those birds because you taught me how to draw birds at Thanksgiving. Way to go and thank you for sharing your artwork with me. I love you Nana.

Lydia, You and your art work bring me so much joy. I love everything about this picture. The dark blue circles in the background remind of snow on a dark night. His hat sitting sideways makes him look very chic and all dressed up. His smile is precious and you can clearly see the direction he is looking. You have an eye for detail. Well done Lyddie!! I love you, Nana

Lydia Your work is beautiful - I love all the learning you are doing and that you show your learning in such thoughtful ways. Remembering important people in our lives is important and it’s so cool you are learning about special flowers and what they mean. When I was a girl, I used to give poppy’s to people on Veterans Day because my dad was a veteran. Did you know Bubba is a veteran?
