I like this landscape picture Evan has made. It has elements of Van Gogh’s Starry Night with the orbs in the sky. It has an interesting element on the foreground with the tree shape and another mid ground element with the church steeple and cross. This all gives the overall image a lot of depth. The colors are very complimentary and it is really a nice image! Well done, Evan!

Ton Schulton is a very interesting artist whose work is full of color and geometric design elements, especially his cityscape work. Evan, your painting has captured the essence of his style very well. You are developing a really good eye for art and your creativity will continue to grow.

I love seeing Evan's artwork. I was talking with his dad about it a week or so ago and mentioned that, even though he's only had a couple of his pieces posted here, I'm seeing a definite style to his work that belies his age. To me (and I admit to some bias) his work does not show the typical 6 year old's talent. I think it shows a lot of potential and his artistic sense is strong. Or, as Yoda would say, "Strong, this one's talent is." :)
