I was pretty fascinated by the shading in this piece, Fiona. Both in the fabric and in your face as well. Your expression...is it teen angst?? Well done!

I think your proportional portrait is quite good. Drawing faces that reflect emotion is not easy. To me this one suggests apprehension, perhaps a touch of disillutionment, maybe apprehension -- could be thoughtfulness. Proporations are good and indicate to me a very young face -- not childish, but adolescent perhaps. Judy
