So seasonal! Resembles the glass pumpkins on the shelves at home. I like the shading and addition of some green, very nice!

I like the shadows and the the shading in the pumpkin fl, which makes it look very realistic.

I love it! It looks like a pumpkin decoration I have out for Fall currently. I like the shading under the pumpkin as well

Wow, this totally looks like you!! You should create a Taylor Swift-inspired pic like this for her next album, haha I absolutely love seeing your work! Good job

Wow, are those gel colors?! How exciting for Halloween! You always do such an amazing job- xo

So cool, your shading and choice of colors makes the skeleton look like it’s glowing! And I like the heart on the movie camera. Great work!
Posted 3 months ago by Sarah (Mother)
Love the detail of the skeleton's mouth and ribs. The lights from the camera look as if it's actually filming a scene. Love this one Gwen! Laura

I saw this piece before it was finished. I love it now that it’s done. My favorite parts are the eyes and hair. Great self portrait.

OMgoodness I love this!!! It is so good, one of my new favorites. The hair is so life like and the face reminds me of the corpse bride. Mr. Burton himself would applaud this work

Your hair looks very real and I love the border. Very nice work! Jack and Sally would be proud. =)

The tendrils are wonderful. Agreed that one more pod would have been nice, but the shading work you did on the two pods is spectacular. Looks good enough to eat! ??

What beautiful, detailed pea pods, the only Peas I enjoy! Lol I look forward to this year's artwork.

I don't need it wrapped or anything when you get it back. Just put it on my coffee table, thanks! Love it!

Love seeing how your artwork has progressed the past few years! I don't doubt there isn't anything you can't create. Following in Aunt Eliz's artistic venues.

I love this! The white contrast is my favorite part. Shading is a challenging technique that you have mastered easily. Can't wait to see your next piece.

What a great drawing of Duke! You have really captured his personality. I love this drawing.
Posted 2 years ago by Grandma
I feel like I can pet him, this is very realistic! Love this! You captured his whiskers and ear fluff very well and how white his white fur is.

Very nicely done! This piece is so cute!

Even though the middle isn’t centered I like the consistent pattern and colors used throughout - this would make a pretty stained glass window.
Posted 3 years ago by Mommy
The detail, particularly on the house, is fantastic! I agree that the colored window isn’t the best part of this drawing, but I do like the pop of color against the black and white.
Posted 3 years ago by Mommy
The texture applied to each word really stands out! And the words you selected are right on point, you are all of these things and more.
Posted 3 years ago by Sarah (Mother)
Before I read the title I knew this was a cherry blossom lantern - beautiful! Looks like it could be in Animal Crossing. =)
Posted 3 years ago by Sarah (Mother)
This is so beautiful! Very nice lantern.
Posted 3 years ago by Grandma
This looks like the new kiwi Peeps flavor for Easter or my new hat for Spring.Either way it's gorgeous. Especially like the dots, always a favorite of mine.

Very nice! I love your choice of green. This pumpkin can be displayed year round.
Posted 3 years ago by Grandma
Can’t wait to display this with our other pumpkins! This looks like it grew in a witch’s garden. =)
Posted 3 years ago by Sarah (Mother)
I love this piece of artwork. So serene and calming. Beautiful!
Posted 3 years ago by Grandma
I like that you used colored pencil and different shades throughout the drawing. Your use of perspective makes me feel like I’m actually driving down the road and approaching the mountains.
Posted 3 years ago by Sarah (Mother)
I think the cubes in the back are perfection (need I say "jello cubes"). Also, I love that you gave this person a heart. Can everybody find it? I'm not surprised, though, you put hearts wherever you can. Lovely!

Picasso would be proud, nice work!

This would make a great Girl Scout badge, something related to outdoor exploration. I like how your name appears like stones on the path.
Posted 4 years ago by Sarah
What a great piece! I love that you have included your name in the artwork. Even though the color is neutral, it is still an interesting piece.
Posted 4 years ago by Grandma
Love this piece--very festive. It's like a New Years Eve celebration on paper. My favorite part is the hearts between each "V" around your name.
Posted 4 years ago by Auntie Mar
So fun! Love the different patterns an colors in both your name and the border/background. Good work!
Posted 4 years ago by Sarah
Where did you get the inspiration for this lovely piece? I like that you chose different colors for the inside and outside.
Posted 4 years ago by Auntie Mar
Very pretty piece of pottery. I love the spring colors!

The drips from the G are my favorite part. Cute!

This is one happy skull!
Posted 4 years ago by Mommy
This would be a great stained glass window! I don’t think the center is ugly, it all flows together nicely and I like the green loops coming off of the center points. Great work!
Posted 4 years ago by Mommy
Love your sugar skull. It seems a bit perplexed. Sort of seems to be saying "Where am I, what am I doing?" I guess that would be appropriate for the dead. As always, love your color choices. I've read that each color has a specific meaning. Very nice job.

Love the bold colors! This would be great hanging on the wall in our new house.

Delicious! ??

This looks so real, I think you made it out of waffle batter. I like the pattern on the plate and that it doesn't take away from the waffle. Good job! If that was here, I'd sit down for breakfast--yummy.

Oh, Gwen, your "symmetry butterfly" is gorgeous-what a beauty. I wish I could have these in my yard. Can you imagine hundreds of these like at the botanical gardens? Great color choices, as always.
