Fabulous job, Louis. The self-portrait is mysterious and calm, giving much for viewers to think about.

Lou, that’s you! I love that you chose your favorite color and different shades to compliment it!

Love your self-portait, Lou! Picasso had a "blue period" in his artwork. Is this your "red period"?

This is off the wall my man! This reminds me of riding in the car with you when Pantera is on the radio. Keep up the great work!

Hi Lou - I love the colors you chose for your dragon eye! He looks like he is breathing fire and about to attack something or someone!

Home sweet home. Louis, I love the arrangement and your way of putting black bricks among the others, which I see as a harvest gold color. Maybe you'll see something similar when you travel abroad!

I love the texture on that cozy cottage Lou! Bricks remind me of warmth and the comforts of home!

How wonderful! Looks like your fish is escaping the net and the crab is cheering him on! Love it!

I LOVE multimedia art Louie! Do you think your fish resembles the mangrove snapper we caught in the keys??? Keep up the great effort!
Posted 3 years ago by Stephen (Father)

Louis, you captured your fish in a joyous moment -- escaping a fisher's net! Now the fish can continue to enjoy his home and environs, presented in beautiful blues and greens. Thank you for another memorable work of art.

America! Glad I am here and nowhere else! Love!

Lou - Is this fish escaping a net? So cool how you did this! Fish escape is one reason people don't like the idea of aquaculture (the farming of aquatic animals) - which is why there are now laws and regulations on which species can be cultured and where! Love you!

Love this fish and his little crab friend! Those bubbles look so realistic. Great job, buddy!

Louis, Your ability to solve your art assignments just get better and better. The use of such strong colors really enhance the finished product. Love the design of the shoe. You've even got an interesting shift of color tones in your background. Keep up the masterpieces.

Oh, Louis, I love your folk art painting. Once again you have picked a variety of colors and patterns that are very expressive. Your scene reminds me of my grandma's house in Ohio, which we often visited when I was a child. Grandma's barn was not red, but it still stood out as a central point in a setting that was lively, fun and full of love. Thank you!

Louis, This is a great sketch you've done. I'm amazed at the detail. Just by looking at your finished work, I can tell you spent much more time studying the subject then drawing him. Remember at the zoo, we spent most of the time looking at the animals, and the shapes they made? It shows in your finished artwork. Great drawing.......Who is he? Your art wants me to learn more about this guy. Does he have a tattoo? Is he a doctor? An actor? What's his story?
Posted 4 years ago by Jon

Dear Louis, Your portrait of a man in a blue shirt is absolutely FABULOUS! So much detail in his face, shirt, hair and glasses. You are well beyond your 7 (nearly 8) years in creating this portrait. I am so proud of you and your work. Love, Gam-gam

Louis, you have created a wonderful, well-proportioned pinch pot, grounded with its sturdy legs, full of color and given a variety of shapes -- rectangular at its opening, rounded on its legs, and sides that slope in different ways. Well done!
