What a cool title! This painting is really neat - My eye is drawn to that big area of blue and then I notice the reds and orange. The contrast of warm and cool colors works really well!

This is such a cool abstract piece! After reading the title... I totally see a rainforest represented! I love the movement those longer drips of green bring to this painting.

This is such an interesting piece just as abstract art! I was drawn to it before I even read your title. i like how you used the same repeated line pattern but used the warm and cool colors to create the subject and background.

This is so much fun! I see the Tarsila influence for sure but it also reminds me a lot of James Rizzi's art! The building faces are so cool!

I love that we can see the objects from your still life in your photo! All of the overlapping and the sharp angles in your drawing are super interesting. This is great!

This is a cool dragon. It must have taken a long time creating it.

This art on it's own is so dynamic! I really like the bold colors and how they are broken up with black. After reading your description I appreciate it even more! The connection between books and fireworks is so cool.

Love this artwork, especially the colors. One has to be very careful of the freezing laser beams which seem very powerful. I suppose the fire coming out of the Ninja sword can keep you warm.

@Megan yes of course!!! And it was delicious!! Full disclosure, this was in fact just a baking project that coincided nicely with sculpture month! :) We do a lot of baking! Although none have had sculptures on top before, so maybe there was some inspiration from Barbara Hepworth!

This is SOOOO amazing! I love that the checkerboard pattern continues inside the cake! And the chess piece sculptures have so many cool details. What a creative piece of art! I'm curious... did you end up eating it?
