Your piece of artwork is so fun! Clay and glaze can lead to a surprising outcome! Where will you display it?

You had to make a lot of coils to get a pot this tall! It must have been a surprise when it turned out to be a different color than you expected

What beautiful colors you used for your watercolor artwork! I enjoyed reading the description of making your piece; much thought was put into it!

Dannie, watercolor paintings are my favorite type of paintings to do and the colors you chose create such a tranquil landscape. Making a winding path vs a straight one makes it more interesting and realistic.

I like your path also; it shows good use of perspective, as the path starts out "large" and disappears into the horizon. Makes me want to know what is at the end of this path!

I love the colors that you used in your artwork! I also really like Bruno Mars! Good choice! Your expression of feelings comes through on your beautiful artwork!

I love it when you post your artwork; this project seems like it would be a lot of fun, listening to a favorite song and using a medium to express how it makes you feel. (Makes be want to go listen to the song you mentioned to see how it makes me feel)

I think this is beautiful, Dannie! The intricacy of the tree branches is amazing and it must have taken you a long time to draw the boat lift so accurately! I love the way you blended the colors in the sky too. This will always remind you of home:)

I love your use of the blended colors to create the point of emphasis in your project. It makes me feel like the sunset is giving hope to the cold lonely swing that spring will come again; then swing will get to bring happiness to people once again!

This project was a unique way to study the elements of art. You said the element of shape was your favorite in this project, but I liked the way you showed the element of line; very detailed.

I have used this technique to make objects larger or smaller in projects; this takes time but it's interesting to see all the individual boxes mesh together to make a picture. Well done!

A lot of techniques were used in your line and wash artwork! Very nice!

I agree, Dannie, pandas are super cute! I love how this technique makes Fi-Fi look like she's literally leaping out of the jungle:)

Lots of texturing techniques used which makes your landscape interesting. I like the colors you used in your sky; seems kind of peaceful. But if you did change it to a sunset sky that would change the whole "mood" of the picture

Turkey must have been interesting to learn about; I'm glad you added that note, because I had no idea they liked hot air balloons. And now I know how to say hello in Turkish!

I got to see this clay creation at the concert night, and I loved it! Your detail work on the mushrooms and frogs was excellent, and the colors are so bright and "Spring-like".

Hi Dannie - What a awesome galaxy somewhere far, far away!

Hi Dannie - I like your multi-level tree house! It would be so fun to explore it!

Wow Dannie, this artwork looks so realistic, it could be in a Science book! The stars are mesmerizing.

Your galaxy turned out quite beautiful! Makes me wonder about what we could discover if we could travel vast distances into space.

Hi Dannie - I like your multi-level treehouse! What level is your favorite?
Posted 3 years ago by Grandma Gwen

That is a pretty fabulous tree house. Is it for people or cats? I see cats in the picture (and I know they like to be in high places like trees), but I also spotted hockey sticks, so I wondered if people could live in this tree house, too? And of course both people and cats would like the ice cream cones!

Wow, I can see you were able to create a lot of different objects out of cardboard for your cardboard city scape using just cardboard and your imagination. I also noticed you used lots of colors of paint to brighten up your city scape; very nice! The clock is one of my favorite items and it makes me wonder; does something special happen at 7:25?

Dannie, this is one awesome owl. Those green eyes look like they are staring right at me! You added so many details (which can be hard to do with chalks), and the color choices compliment each other so well.

Hi Dannie It looks like you were working on creating art using symmetry. Nicely done using vibrant colors! Also I see you used some cut outs to make symmetrical shapes. Pretty awesome.

I looked up Adinkra symbols and I think you created some unique symbols to represent your ideas! It also looks like this project took lots of time to complete all the details you used...awesome job!
