Good morning to you Violet! I am studying you newest art work and I wish you were here by me to help me understand you composition...it is a new look for your work. Definitely some darker colors than you usually use. I am wondering what your subject was for this class. I like the different shapes you have used but I feel the eyes are feeling upset and you certainly have called attention to them. I do enjoy all of the art work you share and hope you enjoy the class. Hey girlfriend...This will make a perfect water dish for Tuna!! Love the tail you gave the dish (yes, I know kitties have tails) and it is very handy to have it there to pick it up when you rinse it out to give Tuna fresh water every day!! Love to you my "kitty loving girl"...Grandma Vicki

Hi Violet...I really like this portrait of what I am going to call a "fancy lady"!!The bird in her hair calls your attention to how she likes to dress fancy right away and her jewelry is definitely one of a kind. Your colors are very muted but deep and do call attention to good patterns. I also like the design of her top. Great design. Grandma Vicki

Hi Violet, My,my,my...you certainly have "ALOT" going on in this portrait. Have you given her a name?? First one I thought of is MISS MORNING DOVE...she is all dress up in her best silk scarves and they are very colorful too. You have used bold design in all of her accessories and I hope your lady is careful with her purple earing!! This is a really cool fish. I like the colors that you chose.I am going to show it to Uncle Craig because I know he will appreciate the colors you have used it your painting. Love the colors of your chameleon but it looks really scary for me. Looks like he could catch and eat both of those butterflies in one big bite! You know I don't like creepy/crawly things. But it is good you are learning about this kind of stuff. Grandma Vicki

I need to have you explain this piece of art work to me the next time we get together, LOL I think I see a bunny with Easter eggs and jelly beans...but then I need help understanding what I think is the basket that is holding the top part!! Hi Violet...Your painting reminds me of all the cold winter, beautiful moonlite nights when Gr. Grandpa and I live out in the woods in New London. When the moon was full and it was a cold clear winter night, the woods in the back of the house looked exactly like your picture. Beautiful dark shadows on the white snow and the big white moon above just like you have painted. Good job, love Grams

This looks like a definitely "yummy" cup of hot chocolate with marshmellows...I love your kitty waving at you, she probably wants to share the hot chocolate with you, lol. Soooo don't let the "cup kitty"drink all of the hot chocolate. I like the colors you have used for a nice bright spot to drink the hot chocolate. This is such a fun piece of artwork Violet!! LOL I love, love, love it because I love jigsaw puzzles and that is what this reminds me of. WOW...I can't decide if your PINK bud is scary of just pretty in pink, hahaa. Very good job though. Her belly looks like a big pink sugar cookie but I don't want to eat the whole of her. This looks like it was a difficult assignment for art class. I like how you have swirled the color. It makes it seem like the picture moves as you look at it. You got all of your seasons just right. Bright fall colored leaves, snowflakes in winter like right now, green grass for summer and best of all I like the Spring because that is when the color of flowers will show.

This picture will be a good one to share with Liam because he loves dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are looking happy because they are on a nice walk through mountains and the sky is so blue.

Your sunshine makes me smile and also helps to me to feel warm on these cold days. I can tell that you put a lot of effort into this because of all the details you have added.

This heart reminds me of some of the stones you have painted here. Love the colors that you used to make the heart show different depth and size for the sides. It will be a good item to keep your earrings in so they don't get lost.
