The colors are the first thing I noticed. I loved the dark to light in both colors—green and blue. The beautiful colors make the picture not only interesting but easy on the eyes and mind. In other words the picture is soothing. I never knew you have so much artistic talent until this year. So glad your teacher used Artsonia to show us your work.

I think this is my favorite for the year, JAK. Colors and textures are exceptional. Missed having you here this weekend. And will see you soon in W. Love you MUCHO.

This insect is your best product all year! It looks like it could come to life and fly off the page! I particularly like the shading and I love the black and white color—adding any other color would have lessened the power in this drawing!

Interesting project. I like your shading and your attention to detail. With your own flair and interpretation. Keep up the good work, JAK.

I love this insect! It is very realistic. I would not want to be in the same room with it!

I continue to enjoy watching you discover the fun of creating. I like the variety of the activities you are doing. One of my observations is how you are improving in your sense of scale and proportion. And in shading colors. Keep it up. Art is a gift for all of your lifetime.

Jeremiah, thanks for sharing info about your process of learning how to emphasize or highlight an aspect. I enjoy your learning process as much as seeing your talent and focus in producing the art. I'll hold this image in my mind's eye and heart. A way you have shared your vision.

I really like this one—I love the soft colors, and the turtle struggling to get out of the egg has movement and tells the story!

Interesting perspective and ideas, JAK. Scale and shading is particularly good, too. Keep up the envisioning.

This one intrigues me—it seems to tell a story. I feel like the man at the bottom center is somehow the center of the story. The contrast of the black and white is quite effective. There is detail without clutter. Sometime you will have to tell me the story!

Just love your use of color. My favorite is the yellow and royal blue splotches of paint. The painting made me happy!
