This is magnificent!!! Love this and of course you awesome description!

good explanation. I think I would have used blue and red to further isolate photo from subject. This one looks a little too much like a fire behind a fireplace screen. GrandPop

Love this shot and use of the "orange" incendiary. I thought I wrote a comment on this a while back but maybe it did not get through. Anyway, great job! Love GrandPop

Great job, Sarah!! Love the "frozen action" aspect of this graphic. The quality of the editing was superb -- one can actually imagine gthe kiwi somehow being suddenly "sliced" and for a split second in time the slices being suspended like this and instantly photographed. I think you had a high speed lesson so you know what I am talking about. Great talent!! You definitely came up with a unique and quite interesting "photo." Love, GrandPop

Very neat! Did it take more than one shot?

Very nice "high speed" photo. Looks great. Someone came up with a great idea and you executed very well. Excellent lighting and orange smoke was a winner. Regarding format, you can crop as you see fit. Keep up the great work. GrandPop

Cute, is that a cup of coffee?

Sarah, everything that you are learning in photography you will always remember and use years later when taking photographs. I know that I enjoyed my photography class in high school and still remember how to frame photos.

Good depth of field technique, if in fact you actually took a photo of the bottles (in focus) with with what is shown in the actual backdrop (out of focus by virtue of the "F-Stop" (aperature) setting on the camera. Love, GrandPop. P.S. I want to show you my old camera equipment and lenses sometime.

Great job on this photograph. You found some great leading lines. Part of the assignment was to experiment with aperture in the old days we used single lens reflex cameras, and if you ever want mine, I will give it to you using that type of camera and lens. You can adjust the aperture so that you have “depth of field end“ control that means certain things in the picture are in focus and others are not creates nice artistic effects anyway great job. Keep up the great work love, grandpa.
