This picture was drawn before Emmett spent the weekend with his grandparents. Emmett and his sister baked a chocolate cake and drank root beer, in celebration of their parents anniversary!

I love this, Emmett - your artwork always makes me feel happy! I'm thinking it looks like a friendly red bear in a fancy sweater. You can be proud of how carefully you drew and colored all of the details.

I like your owl! I have never seen one with these particular colors - you must have used your imagination. And I can tell you focused on coloring precisely where you wanted each color to be.

I like the colors you used for the leaves. This picture reminds me of our walks in the park when all of the trees had colorful leaves that we would try to catch when they blew off and flew through the air.
