Fun mask Sarah :) My favorite part, aside from getting to see you wear it(!), is the "antlers" that come off the top on either side. Very cool design. Love you, Aunt Tracy

Sarah: we love your Mardi Gras mask. Do you know that Mardi Gras means Fat Tuesday. That's because it is the day before Lent starts, when you are supposed to fast from eating food. So, you are supposed to eat lots of food on Mardi Gras, and get fat, so you won't have to eat for 40 days. You probably already know all of this. We miss you lots. Love, Grandpa and Grandma

Sarah - "April showers bring May flowers!" What an appropriate picture for this time of year! The red is so very striking; it lights up the picture. I miss having flowers by my front door this year; perhaps we'll be able to plant some after Uncle Ron and I move. Love you, Aunt Tracy

Sarah, I absolutely love this piece of art! I wish I could put it on my wall in my office at work so that everytime I see it I am reminded of you. And, I am sure Kate would like a real one that looks just like it. You are such a special artist! Keep up the terrific work! Love, Daddy

You did a great job on your family snow globe!
Posted 17 years ago
Sarah - Your snow globe reminds me of the winter wonderland we visited while you were in DC. The black sky, the snow.... we saw ice penguins instead of snowman, but still :) Your picture brings back many great memories. Just protect it from Kate; we know how she LOVES snow globes!! Love you, Aunt Tracy

Sarah - I love seeing your artwork :) Your picture looks just like an Eric Carle original; it could be a cover for one of his books! The colors are great, and the water looks like it is full of currents. Very realistic looking. We can't wait to see you soon. Love A. Tra

Sarah - Your flower is so bright and colorful :) Your painting reminds me of a beautiful sunflower. We should see some sunflowers in the flowers for Uncle Ron's and my wedding. I can't wait to see you soon. Until then, enjoy your last few days in first grade! Love, Aunt Tracy

Sarah - What a fun art project! I have no idea how you got your church to stand up. It must have been a challenge to draw the colorful stained glass windows in the right place, and THEN fold the paper so that the church is upright. Just think - in 2 months you'll be walking down the aisle at my church when Uncle Ron and I get married! I can't wait to see you. Love Aunt Tracy
Posted 17 years ago
Sarah: Grandma and I love your origami church and your Easter eggs. We can't wait to see you tomorrow and to spend Easter with you. Love, Grandma and Grandpa
Posted 17 years ago
Sarah - How in the world did you make such a beautiful church? It is AMAZING!!!! Love - G.J. & P.
Posted 17 years ago
This is very detailed artwork! You must have been really patient to make artwork like this. Happy Easter
Posted 17 years ago
Sarah - We have a real pysanky egg that Aunt Tracy brought from Russia and the ones you made are as beautiful as the real ones. Great job!! Love you! G. Jackie & Papa
Posted 17 years ago
Sarah - Your Easter Egg project has made me so excited for Easter. It's just a bit over one week away at this point. Are you getting ready for an Easter Egg hunt? What about a favorite piece of candy that you hope shows up in your Easter basket? Thanks for sharing your artwork with me. I always look forward to seeing it. Love, Aunt Tracy

Sarah - What bright colors you used in your painting! Do you know that Papa and Garndma have forsythia at their house in West Virginia? Your painting makes me think about being there with them. That makes me smile. I hope you had fun making the picture. I am now more than ever ready for spring... not winter and the snow that we are supposed to get tonight! Love you, Aunt Tracy
Posted 17 years ago
Sarah - We like your forsythia SO MUCH! It reminds us that Spring is on the way and it reminded me to go and check the forsythia we have growing by our deck. It is not nearly as pretty as yours! Great job Artist Sarah! Love from G.J. & P

Sarah, I really love this tree! It makes me long for spring already. I am so amazed at your artistic abilities, and so proud of your work. Someday perhaps you'll be selling your art for a living...and I'll buy the first one! Love, Daddy

Hi Sarah - We are still in Florida visiting Aunt Patty, Uncle Sal, Aunt Joanne and Uncle Russ so we are happy to be able to share your artwork with them too. We also showed them the pictures from your dance with Daddy. He must have had the prettiest date there - you looked just like a princess! Everyone here says hi - we miss you and hope to see you soon! Love - G. Jackie and Papa

Hi Sarah :) Thanks again for sharing your art with me. I have never seen a design like the one you made. It makes me think of someone so full of love that their heart is "bursting." Are all of the hearts and pages taped together, or does each sheet come apart? Very fun :) I hope you had a TERRIFIC Valentine's day. I love you, Aunt Tracy
Posted 17 years ago
Sarah, Happy Valentine's Day. We love your Heart Art Grandma and Grandpa
Posted 17 years ago
Sarah, I LOVE this collage! Your hearts are all the perfect shape and remind me of how much I love you! You are quite the little artist! Love, Mommy
Posted 17 years ago
Very nice Sarah. After being in Florida last weekend I can understand why people would use a fan with a holiday theme.
Posted 18 years ago
Your bright red pointsettia brings a big smile to my face :) I don't have any pointsettias at home this year, but my Christmas cactus is in full bloom and your picture makes me think of its beauty. I hope to see you real soon. Love Aunt Tracy
Posted 18 years ago
Sarah - Your poinsettia fan is beautiful! It makes me wish I had a real one for a hot summer day (or even a hot winter day!) Give a big hug to all the famly - we miss you all but will see you soon! Ladybug Kisses . . . . . . . . G. Jackie & Papa

Sarah, you are truly a talented little girl. I love your artwork and am always pleasantly surprised when I see what you have developed on your own. Keep up the great work! Love, Daddy

WOW! Another new piece of art from you - the second I've seen in 1 week :) I don't know about the trees in OH, but the trees here in Maryland are getting pretty bare of their leaves. Your pictures makes me think of spring -- blue skies and green leaves on trees rather than the bare trees and grey skies I see now. At least we get snow in the winter :) Miss you Sarah, Aunt Tracy

Hi Sarah, Aunt Tracy le me know how to find your beautiful artwork. This looks like a happy and warm elf. I could have used the mittens and hat this morning. Thanks for sharing your artwork!! Uncle Ron
Posted 18 years ago
The red nose makes me smile Sarah. It is soooo cold in Maryland today - they say it might even snow tonight. Anyway, I think my nose was as red as the one on your elf when I arrived at work this morning :) The elf makes me smile for another reason too: I look at it and see you waving at me! I miss you, and I look foward to seeing you soon :) Love you, Aunt T

Sarah, I love your elf! He is so cute! You will make an excellent artist when you grow up! Love Mommy

Happy St. Patrick's day!! I know you are home right now enjoying your day off of school. I am teaching today, but I am wearing lots and lots of green :) Papa, Grandma, Ron and I went into DC yesterday and we saw the St. Patrick's day parade:) We saw St. Patrick on a float, but no pot of gold or rainbow like in your picture!!! Thanks for sharing :) Love Aunt Tracy
Posted 18 years ago
We love your flowers. They make us feel as though Spring was here already! Good job!! Love you - G.J. and P.
Posted 18 years ago
Sarah: We love your origami tulips. It makes us feel like spring is here. We are excited to see you next week. We also liked your pot of gold. Where did the leprecaun go? Love, Grandma and Grandpa
Posted 18 years ago
Sarah - your picture looks very similar to a pot of tulips my friend Gina gave me for my birthday. Your flowers are all different colors though; mine are all purple. :) I am curious how you made the petals on the flowers; they look like you folded paper over and over. Love you, Aunt Tracy
Posted 18 years ago
Sarah, I love your rainbow and pot of gold. The colors you used are so bright and pretty. I think Grandma Jackie or Great Grandma would love this piece of artwork on a t-shirt!! Love, Mommy
Posted 18 years ago
Wow - the bright colors you used to create this picture immediately made me smile; they're great! On a gloomy, rainy day, I really liked seeing something so very vibrant. Thank you for sharing! Love you lots, Aunt Tracy
