I like this piece very much. It reminds me of an ancient Greek coin.

This looks like interesting clay. Was it fun to work with? I wonder if you used markers or paints to color these pieces.

I like this mask design. It reminds me of another famous artist called Piet Mondrian, who lived around the same time as Matisse who made the wonderful paper cutouts. You and I will have to look him up some day!

I can't wait to hear more about how you made this!

What a beautiful cup and such a nice bright color! You sure did a good job making that handle and decorating the rim of the cup!

I can see how much you learned about pointillism by the way you did this painting. You must have worked hard to make all those dots! Those are wonderful spring colors. They remind me of the warm earth, the new grass and yellow flowers.

What I love about this picture is the way the vine is bending - that helps make the pumpkin look big and heavy! Also, the way you drew the lines on the pumpkin make it look so round. I'd like to have this very pumpkin for Halloween next year!

This is such a wonderful piece inspired by Matisse's cutouts! So bold and bright! One of the things I like about it is the way you used that little spot of red in the middle of the big yellow rectangle - it makes my eye jump back and forth between that little dot and the bigger red triangle in the top left.
