I like it, Drew. I should know by now that your work is always likely to feature either a sport or something to do with farming, since those are your favorite activities. I think it turned out very well using the play diagram around the football, giving your work a vision of action taking place. Well done, Drew!

I think this project would be difficult for me, but I think you did just fine. I bet that is a John Deere tractor headed down the lane to the shed. Is that you driving the tractor, Drew? I thought so! I also think it took lots of patience to complete this project!

Nice work, Drew! I think the purpose of the Mandala work is to present a piece that is easy to focus on, using a round shape and pleasing colors. These features help people use such a piece for meditation, prayer and personal calming. I think you have met the challenge very nicely. Well done, Drew!

Nice job, Drew! Sometime simplicity is the best way to draw attention to the part of your piece that you want to emphasize. I think your work does that very well especially due to the graded shading. Well fone!

Now, THAT is a project that I could do pretty well on, because every thing that I would shape would probably come out looking like a monster! I think the only times that I tried to create anything from a clay base was way back when your Mom was a little girl and we sometimes made things out of Play-Doh. Hmmmm, I wonder if they still make that stuff. Maybe we can check it out next time we are together! Nice job, Drew!!

You have a vivid imagination, Drew! I can tell that your life on the farm came out in your story as you developed the monster’s persona and activities. You did a nice job pulling your art and story-telling abilities together for this assignment. I enjoyed it!

Very eye-catching piece, Drew…. Well done! To be honest, I didn’t know what Zentangle meant. I had to look it up. I think you did a nice job hiding your name in plain view, very tricky. My research said that this type of project and technique can “boost concentration, bust stress, and even help with fine motor skills—three very useful effects for the typical classroom”. Maybe that's why you liked the finished better than you originally thought. You nailed it - Keep up the good work, Pal!

I like the color and I also like this because I touched a pig because I went to work with my dad and they are really cute.

Well, Drew, if anyone should know how to create a piece that is named Snort, I guess that would be you! Very good work, Pal, but make sure your Dad doesn’t take THIS one to market!”

Hi, Drew! I am glad I can go online and visit your school’s artwork site. This Gargoyle one is quite spooky, and just in time for Halloween, too! Maybe you could make a costume like your artwork for going Trick-or-Treating. Love, you, Pal !,

Drew, I think you did a great job on the tractor too! It looks like your tractor. Just needs a green color added. :-) Love you!

Good work, Drew! I think your left hand is actually a little bigger than the picture shows, because it usually has a football, basketball or baseball in it??. Keep up the good work, Pal - your artwork is improving with every project!!
