How cool this chalk work is! Love the different shapes & the red one running into the orange one!

Wow! Love the serene look of the deer! It seems to be at peace… a little smile also show it is content! And love how you combined the different tinges of blue with white, with dots and little lines, the plants bending to suggest movement, maybe caused by a light breeze, creating a tranquil & lovely wintry scene!

Mira....your artwork is such fun to look at....your choice of color and design are matched only by how well they are expressed...keep up the good work.

What a cutie! You are a master with color contrast! This yellow and dark pink contrast and the size of the buildings contribute to making the dog feel closer to those of us looking at the picture.

Only a true artist like you can create such an original Dia de los Muertos art like this one! Love the eye-flowers and the beads around the cadaver’s head. The colors and design all go together well to capture and celebrate those who have passed away. Well done!

It looks like this assignment was weaving yarn, right? I love the purple against the light blue against the light pink and the different shades of purple!

This one makes me think ... is she floating in the ocean or the air? It's a sunny day, and the colors of the tree and ground, with the mountains in the background suggest an interesting landscape. As always, the combination of colors is great!

I think the assignment must have been lines and shapes. There is a perfect balance of lines for the chair, background and floor ... well done!

Wow! This girl's smile and the shimmering light blue water makes me feel relaxed ... Just love the way you put her hands and legs below the knees in the water ... this detail shows how relaxed she is ... and the toys suggest she action! And I see the colors of the ball, noodles, and ring match .. as well as her outfit. You really show what an artist you are when you added a *shadow* ... it makes it so realistic!

What a beautiful drawing Mira! The colored rainbow path, wide then narrowing to the windmill barn door is brilliant! What a great job of mixing the colors -- it makes every thing--the grass, the tree trunks, the tree leaves, the barn door and roof, the barn walls, the blue sky, all come together perfectly. Well done!

Just a beautiful sight of the falling snow, the trees or posts, and the red birds against the dark purplish blue and light snow. I had this drawing set to a heart shaped pendant. People admire it when I wear the necklace with this pendant.

The big size of the bowl and fruits ... or flowers? highlights them ... the mix of colors are perfect in the background to highlight the bowl and fruits or flowers. I see some leaves as well.

What a cool drawing! Love the colorful hanging panels and the read birds ... interesting, they seem to be cardinals ... but then I thought of woodpeckers ... as always you color coordinate very, very well!

Mira, I think the way you used the figures and white dark contrast to represent the concept is very artistic! Well done!
Posted 2 years ago by Ines Shaw Vovó

Mira, you’ve done a terrific job creating a scary scene!!! The black and white colors are perfectly divided, as are the tall skinny ghosts and buildings. The round shapes help create a sense if movement. The white tomb markets and the being half above the soil with the arms and fingers stretched and the oval mouth also show movement. Together with the white windows, this being gives a sense that the scene is alive. Well done!!!

What a cute bunny Mira! The background looks like it is Chinese. Were you thinking of that when you did the design and the red color? The green bib adds a nice contrast. And the bunny has a nice, calm face. And those ears standing to attention!

What a lovely field of flowers and blue sky with clouds! The red petals with the black corona on green stalks make a great contrast. And Mira, your sense of distance is GREAT! The closer flowers are large and the farther they are, smaller they are. Perfect job!!!

This is the cutest bug I've seen Mira. It looks content, happy. The two different pink colored face tells a story I'd like to know one day. The red and black mixed with pink, the big eyes and the itsy bitsy legs and arms creates a great look!
Posted 4 years ago by Vovó (Ines)

Mira, your sense of perspective is PERFECt. The tree up front is bigger and the one farther away is smaller, just as in real life. The contrast of the colors is fantastic! The dark green walk, the lighter side bushes, the blue sky, and the pinkish, purplish sky at the end of the day is just beautiful! AND I love you drew the trees in the fall, the leaves gone but with some leaves still attached. What a GREAT artist you are Mira!!!
