Hi Olive, This time I took a very long time to figure out what you were trying to say in your picture. I finally decided it has something to do with friendship. Yes, you did good, and if this is the cover of your art book, friendship is a very good choice. Remember though, each person and see different things in the same picture.

Olive, I love your rabbit, and I also see all the other figures in the picture that are part of the background. The whole idea is quite imaginative. I also like the idea that one of the rainbow colors comes down to tie the rabbit's coat. All the elements make it a very interesting picture.

Oli, I had a chance to scan some of the other works in the Birch group, and I must say I think your design was most original. You have a wonderful imagination.

Oli, I think you have very cleverly almost hidden your letters in your drawing. I see Xs in the crisscrossing of your lines, but in the upper left area I also see an A and an N. I do not know if those are the letters you wanted to include, or they are just designs that I am seeing as letters. You have to help me out on this one.

Hi Oli, This is one of the hardest art pieces to comment on because I did not know there was actually an art form called 3-Value Landscape Collages. First, I looked at the art of your class and then at some others online and I came to understand what it was about. Your picture is quite original. While the others looked like geographical landscapes made from 3 parts, yours looks like 3 nesting objects or individuals. By nesting I mean thee objects, one inside the other. Good going for being so inventive.

Wow Oli, When I first saw this picture on my computer screen, I just let out an "Oh my" to myself before I even knew what it was all about. It is just so pretty. Then I looked at the artwork on which your work is based, and I think you captured the spirit, form and colors of the Cute Shakers. Good work. You should feel very proud!!!

Hi Olive, You did a wonderful job showing the warm and cool colors. The tree looks very familiar to me. I think there are a few movies where a tree like this has apples on it, and the tree is shown as alive, picking apples off itself and throwing them at someone to get their attention. It made me laugh.

Oli, This bird is so lifelike that I feel like to will start flapping its wings and fly away. It reminds me of a parakeet I had when I was a child. I'd like to pat its little head. Good Job!!!

Hi Oli, I love this painting. It captures the spirit of the Charlie Harper art. The face on the tree would fit in with the collection of owls. The colors are beautiful and springy. Keep of the good work!!!

Hi Oli, I just saw your Tar Beach piece of art. It brings back memories of my childhood when on hot summer nights, when it was too hot to sleep inside, we went up to the roof of the house, took our pillows and blankets and tried to fall asleep. If my rooftop was as pretty as yours, and filled with all the things you bring to it, it would have been much of a more relaxing and sleep-producing atmosphere. Keep up the good work.

Oli, This work is so beautiful. The colors are so alive, and you have chosen interesting subjects to include in the box. I love the design on the top. It reminds me of combs Mexican women sometimes wear in their hair. Keep up the good work.

Hi Oli, Every time you create a piece of art you teach me something. I did not know about Kusama, so I went to look at her work. You did a terrific job creating a pumpkin in her style. I love the color you chose. The animals are a cute touch. Keep up with your artwork and keep teaching me.

Dear Oli, I found this very interesting. I think maybe this was supposed to be a summer theme, but your work reminds me of the winter. I think it is because your greenish blue color in the background reminds me of what an ocean looks like in the Northeastern part of the United States, and lighter blues represent ripples in the choppy water, with a block of ice in the center. I like it because I love winter scenes.

Hi Oli, This looks like an amazing maze with spaghetti in the middle as a prize. It sure looks hard to get through to the spaghetti. It would make me hungry just to try. Good Job!!!

Hi Oli, This painting is really fun. I love the different emojis. I am trying to figure out which one I would send in an email to you to express how I am feeling right now. I think I would choose red because I am sleepy now and the red emoji's pupils look like they are rolled back as if she were in dreamland. Keep up the good work and have fun!!!

Dear Oli That pumpkin face is so cute, it almost looks like furry pet. The stars are so well made and evenly spread out. I bet you could use this as a flag over a pumpkin patch. I hope you had fun doing it.

Hi Oli, The mixture of Fall colors of the leaves is so beautiful. It reminds me of taking trips to upstate New York at this time of year just to see the explosion of colors on the trees. It is something that brings smiles. Great job!!!

Dear Oli, This looks like a very interesting fish swimming in a fish bowl with different kinds of sea plants. I think this is not a painting because it looks like I can touch it and actually feel the different parts of the picture. You did a great job making it look like you actually but the bright blue sea water into the fishbowl.

Oli, I just looked at the series of water lily paintings by Monet. I think you have captured the spirit of the paintings, and the colors especially stand out.

Oli, Winter was always my favorite month while growing up. I loved the snow, and the trees with snow on the branches, and those days with the beautiful sunsets promising some beauty on the following day. You have captured it all. Thanks for taking me back to my childhood. Lots of Love.

Hi Oli, When I first saw this I did not know what it was all about. Your picture picture made me look up to see what "The Mitten" is and I learned it is a fairytale about animals. One of them was a snowshoe rabbit and you did a terrific job drawing it. One day I hope you can tell me the whole story.

Olive, owls are my favorite bird and this is a very nice picture of an owl. I can tell you spent a lot of time making this picture. So much detail and colors.

Oh Olive, What a beautiful owl. Those eyes are so full of life. The owl is looking right at me as if he wants to tell me something. I guess I should listen because owls are supposed to be wise.
