Oh my goodness, Leland! When I first saw this on my phone, I thought it was a painting! Then I read that it was in colored pencil. What a fabulous rendition of our fine feathered friend! This must have taken you a really long time to do! The detail in the feathers are amazing and really give a sense of depth! Great job!

Mega cool Leland, I wasn't sure where the trees stopped and the frame began on this one....it plays tricks on my eyes - like an optical illusion. I didn't know you were a magician too!! Love the shadows and brightly contrasting sky against the birch trees. Well done!
