Love the bright colors and suggestion that they are rows of books. Be interested to know what your inspiration was.

This was one of my favorite patterns, Evelyn! You are so persistent and patterned in your design. Another mug in my coffee cupboard!!

Evelyn, Another great work of art. Drawing cubic, perspectives requires lots of accuracy. Did you realize that math and art are very similar talents? We are so proud of you! My favorite one in your gallery has the bright, bold colors! Love, Grandma S.

Wow. That octopus will be able to see prey with those big eyes. Fun to see how your creativity changes as the medium does. I wonder which you prefer. You create wonderful things each time.

Another cool, fun-sounding technique. Imagine how you can take that technique to make art anytime. Love it.

I like it that you learn about artists and how and why they use patterns and colors to produce such eye-catching works of art. I wish that I had had that kind of instruction when I was a kid. I have seen magnificent work in museums and galleries all over the world and such history would have made me appreciate that art even more. Plus it is just plain fun!

Great job! Your grandmother did this very art project when I was a 5th grade teacher. Still life drawing—-your shoe. Way to go, sweetie! ?

Isn’t it fun to see how something turns out when you simply tear some paper? No two things are alike. Also, did you know that it is possible to make your own paper? Years ago I had students do that in Bible school.

Fun to see that you are working in another medium. Good place to keep pencils. Lots of fun to be had with clay, for sure.
