It appears that Desmond is benefiting from his art instruction in school plus his own talent.

I like the shading on the cactus which gives the impression he knows what he's doing! I would like a copy!

One of our favorite holidays... remembering our loved ones. His growth, both artistically and in his imagination, are depicted in each of his drawings. But mostly, I love how his personality comes through in his joy of art. So fun to see him smile as he creates

“Dia de la talentoso!” Obviously, the spirit of the deceased being celebrated has been implanted here. Our family lost our beloved furball. However, not a day to regret or mourn, here is our family member who’s memories grace each of our days. Thank you for teaching our student the art of expressing his heart creatively. What a thrill it is to have his future brightened each day at DCES!

Not an artist myself, but I am appreciative of how each of his strokes appear so deliberate. How the colors are varied and interspersed with the white. It appears to be a photo of an owl! The bird clearly jumps out into view, contrasting with the darker background. Watching him advance his skills at DC has been fulfilling (and he's just begun)

His imagination is only matched by strong desire to be self-determined. "I'll do it" is his mantra. Love this kid. Keep doing your thing on your own terms. We'll keep watching you grow as you amaze every day!
