I love how the turtle's head fades into the ocean landscape. I love how it incorporates the turtle's habitat right on his body. Such an interesting effect that I've never seen before. Snappy isn't a sea turtle but he approves of this awesome artwork!

Grandma and I love this work of art. The placement of a coral reef for the turtle's body is excellent. Your art aptitude is amazing. Love, Papa and Mama

This is a very beautiful and interesting rendition of a turtle in which the turtle is mostly created from the landscape of the ocean. The landscape was used in ways you wouldn't expect, and I really liked it. Love, Mimi

Dear Elizabeth, I very much enjoyed your creation of the monarch butterfly. There was a tremendous amount of detail, and you can see the effort that you put in as it had to be done piece by piece. That is not a trivial thing to do & must have taken you a long time. I look forward to your next project. Love, Mimi

Dear Elizabeth, I absolutely LOVED this artwork--a giraffe that represents many of your different talents & interests (your cello & music; swimming; reading; and writing to name a few). It's exciting to be able to share in your life in this way. Keep up the good and interesting work. Love, Mimi

This is a quite lovely piece of artwork, and would make a beautiful pendant. It reminds me of some Hebrew letters. I would love to know how this was created.

This is another interesting art piece. I think you obviously meant it to be a slice of watermelon, but I can see it being a Christmas hard candy as well. It seems like you often have artwork that can be looked at in different ways, which I enjoy. Keep up the good work. Love, Mimi

Oh, my. I love this little fellow, Elizabeth. He would look great on anyone's table, next to a plant perhaps:) Love, Mimi

This is a very interesting use of color, shading, and shapes to create the 3-dimensional exploding effect. It reminds me of fireworks on the 4th of July in Washington, DC. Love, Mimi

Dear Elizabeth, I really loved this project. It definitely demonstrates the use of asymmetry, and it appears to me that you achieved the effect using different pieces of fruits and vegetables cut into geometric shapes. That is clever. Correct me though, if I am wrong:) It is also a very whimsical piece and makes me smile. Love, Mimi

I loved your use of fall colors (red, bronze, yellow, orange) with the splash of white for the clouds. This is beautiful. Love, Mimi
