Cool stuff, Conrad.... The shadow version of your previous work. The colors, intensity and "creepiness" are perfect. Keep it coming. So proud of you!

Con-Gramma posted on this cool piece of work. Please ask Mom and Dad to post what I wrote. Love you, Bugs!

Nice work Conrad! The hazy contrast of the red and black has a mysterious effect. This could pass as a cool football flag or for a preview for a horror movie. Keep using those amazing talents and know Gramma is very proud of you. Love you!

This piece amazes me. Spirals, clustered together, like a crowded subway of colorful worms - or - a close up of fabric from a sweater, all interwoven. This piece looks like it took a while to complete and the contrasting colors are great. You did it again! Fantastic work. Love it and love you too, Conrad.

I bet your inspiration is from your Dad and his love of donuts. As long as I can remember he takes you places in search of the perfect one. You’re getting good Con, you could be an animator someday! Love you!

Cool 3-D piece of artwork. Looks like an invasion with missiles, flames, and aircraft.... Or something out of a video game. That beast looks like he is under attack. You have a good imagination. Keep up the creativity. I am very proud of you, Conrad!

Monochromatic - Your unusual design inspired my interest. Your solo color is relaxing and enjoyable. Nice work Conrad. I am always so proud of you.

Goats.... That's nothing new at your house, but 3 mediums gives this goat a whole new perspective. Keep up the good work kid! Love you and always so proud of your artwork.

Love this one. I can only imagine that’s how the goats on the camp feel about their life. Happy & colorful!

Love this piece. Like a person...grown, blossomed, and ready to travel into an adventure to replant themselves to start a new life of their own. The colors are so contrasting with the soft white innocent " fairies" going into the strong, deep purple tones to survive and flourish. This is definitely my favorite painting that you have created. Great job, Bugs!

Con - This is a pretty strange piece of art. What you see on the outside is not exactly the same as what is going on inside. Seems there are a lot of thoughts circling around. Very creative and unique. Nice work, Bugs.

Cool piece of work. Has a sense of serenity about it. The colors contrast well too. You definitely seem to enjoy creating and I definitely enjoy your productions. Keep going strong, Conrad.

Hi Conrad- This is cool. I am not sure what I am looking at but I like it. Makes me think of one of those kids' workbooks where you have to find a picture that has something different in it or match up the two pictures that are the same. Good colors that blend and hold your interest. Sometimes it reminds me of a picture of earth taken from space. Where on earth? Who knows. Thanks for sharing...love you and great job!

Love It, Con..."I got my eye on you". You definitely showed the reptile feature in this drawing. The colors contrast so boldly and you get a creepy feeling from this creation. Very well done! Always so proud of you. Maybe next time around, we can see what/who this body part is connected to.

So pretty - vibrating off colors in every direction. This must be spring/summer is here and everything is growing and making it self known. Simplicity yet says a lot. Nice work, Bugs!

Conrad...This is so cool. Talk about "blending into the woodwork"...then BAM!!! You have a giant lizard. Great effects and intense. Thought I had sent a comment earlier about this pic, but just in case I didn't, just wanted you to know that it is great!

Love this piece, Conrad. I feel like I am traveling through a tunnel of trees and heading for infinity. The colors are vibrant and the perspective is surreal. Wonderful work and lots of love to a great artist!!!

Hey Con-This pic is wild. Talk about camouflage. You mixed in that lizard so well that I didn't even see it at first. I believe this is one of your better works of art. Great job, Bugs. I am always so proud of you. XO

Conrad...Sorry about the delay. Even though it is winter now, this picture looks like the hidden signs of spring, just around the bend. Small roots are showing tight little buds to break through the Earth 's surface... waiting for that warm sunlight. Just like you are my "Sunshine, my only sunshine.....you make me happy". Keep growing with your artwork and that creative mind of yours. Great job, Bugs!!!

Miss you! Reminds me of spring & makes me happy!

It is Night time and color is still breaking through the darkness. Stacked high or low, with a variety of shapes mixed in - there is so much to see every day. So much liveliness for us to experience. There are so many contrasts for us to appreciate with their differences to make them unique. Nicely done, sweetie. Love it, and you too.

Snowmen!!!! I just love , snowmen. Fun, colorful, playful, and snow white pure. Real snow is like cold clay from nature and you create your masterpiece. I love this happy circle of cool cuties. Great work, Bugs! You make me so proud...all the time!

Bugs...This is so cool. Silhouettes are interesting. You are " there" but in the shadows at the same time. Surrounded by colors and liveliness but maintaining with strength in the darkness...seen but unseen at the same time. Love the whole concept, your dedicated work and imagination but especially you!!! You crushed it!

Bugs - You made the cutest, little, penguin. He looks like he is at the end of a rainbow, with the colors you painted around him. This chilly, little guy would probably love to hang out with you in the snow or on the frozen river behind your house. I like how you used two different mediums to complete your artwork. Well done, Conrad, as always. Thanks for sharing and I am so proud of you. Love you tight!!!

This is my favorite one yet! I love animals and perfect timing for winter! Miss you!

Fresh fruit on your kitchen island...looks like you have your seat ready to pull out so you can start munching away. Everything looks ripe and delicious and it doesn't matter if it's a hot summer day with chilled grapes and peaches or a cold winter afternoon with hot chocolate and bananas - fruit is a great snack. You did a great job capturing all the bright colors! Love you, Bugs, and thanks for being a terrific artist!!!
Posted 4 years ago by Grandma Debbie

A nice, steaming hot chocolate would be delicious in any one of your four mugs. So decorative and festive; I especially like the blue snowman mug. I can smell the sweet marshmallows melting in it. So bring on winter Conrad. These mugs make me feel snuggy buggy warm just like when I get a hug from you. Great artistry....love you so much and we are so proud of you and your work. Xoxo

Whoa....How creepy is this hand? What does the rest of this person look like?!?! Conrad, this is the perfect drawing for Halloween....or some dude went berserk in a tattoo parlor! That's some mean looking ink! I love how you swirl and define each finger differently. A story for each digit. Then it all connects to a center point to circulate throughout the hand, like a book of chapters that expands from a main idea. Love it. Keep your imagination moving. I can look at this hand for hours.... especially if it has been traced from your hand. Then I know, despite it's eerie look, there is a wonderful young man attached to it. He is thoughtful, creative, loving, and incredibly talented. Love you, Bugs! Xoxo

Wow, Conrad....Love your drawing. Lots of action and all happening on the water. I would love to be the onlooker, chilling in the chair, taking in the excitement like an on-going movie. Papa would love the lighthouse effect and I sent a copy of this app to England so he can see it. For some reason, I could picture your brother, StinkerDo, in the submarine, spying like a ninja, while you are managing the Steamer/large boat, forging ahead. Little Red must be in there somewhere, because you are the thick as thieves. Thanks for sharing this picture with me. Your artwork gets better every time. Love you tight and I am always so proud of you.

What an unusual piece of artwork. Lots of curves, dots, and a central location with definite colorful areas on the perimeters. I love the activity in your artwork and look forward to a time we can discuss your creation. I have enjoyed all of the pieces you have created and love seeing your talent grow. Gramma is so proud of you, BUGs. I love you so much too.

Kites!!! Beautiful, free flying kites that can almost touch the sun. How did this incredible picture get past me? Kite flying is so much fun and watching them soar through the air is magical. These 3 kites make me think of you and your 2 brothers... happily moving about, zig-zagging occasionally, and playfully being caught in a fierce breeze - but always flying high and together. Conrad, you are the biggest kite in front, leading the way for B-boy and Little Red. Always have fun and remember the sky's the limit! Love you, BUGs! Xoxo
Posted 4 years ago by Grandma Debbie

Conrad - You captured 2 of my favorite things...the beautiful, warm sun and the water, preferably at the beach. I know you like to go to the beach too, just to run and slash around and feel free. The sun, whether it's strong on our backs or just feeling warm in a gentle breeze keeps our spirits up with light and a feeling of relaxation. We can soar like your seagulls in your scene. I love your picture and as always, I love you too!!! Thank you for being such a wonderful artist.

Conrad, This looks like one of those wishy flowers. The ones that you blow on and make a wish as the seeds float away. Reminds me of my childhood. Right now I wish more than anything that I get to see you and your brother’s soon! Auntie misses you! I love you! Auntie Jess

Hello Conrad - I have enjoyed studying the intricate parts of this piece of art. Your Aunt suggested it looked like an eye examining it's surroundings. I feel it looks like a flower bursting open, with it's center exposed, watching and waiting for bees to collect it's pollen. All layers are open and it's intimidating size and beauty still renders it as welcoming. Papa said it looks like an aerial view of a stadium or amphitheater - this image is so interesting and has created so much discussion in our family. All we know, it is wonderful and we love your work!!! Love U2. X O X O

How did I miss this fabulous pic?!?! These must be the special markers you mentioned used to draw such a vibrant picture. I wish the camp had this type of turtle swimming around in the water...it is pretty and cool as a Christmas ornament. Bugs, you have come so far with all of your beautiful creations. Just a short time to go with the school year... can't wait to see what is next. Love you lots!

Lollipops!!! They are so bright and colorful - you can taste them!!! Gramma is loving this drawing. Bugs, those pops at the bank (even the special green one everyone wanted) don't compare to these delicious candies. Perfect picture for entries into an Easter basket I am so proud of your fine and FUN art projects. Love you lots, sweetie! Xoxoxo

Hi Conrad - "All we need is love" is a famous song and your amazing artwork goes right along with it!!! The colors are cheerful and warm and the letters are divided into separate compartments, just like the different types of love we feel in our daily lives but are all part of the " big picture" we live in. This design was perfect for the month of February... Valentine's Day, and I know your family celebrated together to express your loving feelings toward each other. This emotion, hopefully will be celebrated everyday because all of us need that loving feeling to enjoy life to it's fullest. You boldly outlined each letter of love and that shows you are not afraid to express your feelings...that shows such strength. It goes without saying, we love you very much - ALL of the time and want to thank you for sharing such a great picture. Keep on drawing and soaring, Bugs!!! Xoxo.

Conrad-What a beautiful picture...A heart that represents love and that's something we need a lot of, especially during these tough days of sickness and feeling isolated. You intertwined your heart into the complete drawing, just like love is mixed into and connected into so many parts of our lives. So many colors that express so many different levels and intensities that We experience. We love you very much and are so proud of you creating these amazing works of art! Thanks, Bugger-Boo, for being such a wonderful grandson and an amazing artist.

Conrad - So sorry Gramma did not send you a message earlier. With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, just like the hustle and bustle of a city or urban setting, life gets backed up and unfortunately, important matters - like your drawing - gets in a line up of things to do. But eventually, like your picture with the moon out at the end of the day, things do get done. So many buildings with so much to see...something for everyone. Papa lived in the city (NY) for half of his life and said there were so many places to visit and so many things to do, just like you shared in your work. We are proud of you and want you to know we appreciate your imagination and talent. You did a great job capturing all that goes on with urban living. If you drew a picture of "Life with the Urbans" - and we know who THAT is, I bet your creation would be even MORE active than this drawing. Love you so much, Bugs! Can't wait to see what is next to come!!!

As an owl would say, "Who (hoo) made this wonderful picture?" It must be a wise and knowledgeable artistic named Conrad! Bugs, Gramma really likes your work!!! Are the 2 little dudes friends or family to the big owl? They must like sitting on the same branch, hanging out with him...just like I love spending time with you! I guess that's a big old moon above them because owls are nocturnal. So many other animals at Camp Cedarcrest are nocturnal too. Thank you for sharing this interesting picture with Gramma. It's a real hoot!!! Love you tight and keep on loving art. It is such a fun and enjoyable way of expressing yourself. Hugs and kisses to you.

Hi Conrad! What an interesting picture. Looks like a group of kites or one super-duper kite flying like a magic pirate ship in the sky. Are you holding on tight, or do you want to float into the sky with it. (Can I come with you?) You have a great imagination and make good choices for bright and lively colors. Keep up the good work and always feel free to express yourself. Love you Bugger-Boo! Hugs and Smooches headed your way.

Conrad - That one leaf, fluttering and free flowing, makes Gramma think of all the leaves we would see falling and blowing in the wind at Camp Cedarcrest. Since you were one years old, I would push you in your red fire engine, all through the trails and pathways and collect the beautiful leaves, while singing "Oh the leaves turn red and yellow in the fall". That was a very special fun and happy time for both of us. Thank you for drawing such a wonderful picture that brought back so many cherished memories. You always are so thoughtful. Gramma is so proud of you and loves you very much. XXOO
