Riley, What an interesting picture of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Grandpa and I have been to the top of it. It provides a beautiful, high up view of the city. I love the blue/purple clouds behind the tower. It gives your picture depth and interest. The pink sky shading to yellow is so well done. I am impressed. You are very good at showing the height and shape of the Tower. You are a great artist. I am proud of you. Love, Grandma

Riley, I like your new picture. It looks like snowflakes. Do you know that God created snowflakes and no two are alike? I am sure you do know. You know a lot and you are still learning. Riley, you are a very gifted artist!!! Your pumpkins look great. The shading on the close pumpkin is so good. I like the eyes and mouth. It reminds me of decorating pumpkin cookies with you. You even put a moon in your picture! I especially like that. I enjoy seeing the moon each time it is visible. I especially like when the moon if full and lights up the night like a flashlight. Riley, I would guess that Taylor Swift would love to see your portrait of her. I learned that you were a fan of hers this summer when you selected a few books about her from the library. I like all of the extra symbols you drew around Taylor's portrait. It adds interest to the picture. I hope you are having a great summer. Riley, oh what colorful jellyfish! Did you see any jellyfish on the sand when you were in Florida this year? Sometimes we have seen them. The ones we have seen have been sort of clear white not beautifully colorful like yours. Your are such a good artist and I imagine you have fun creating all of the pretty pictures you have made over the years. I always enjoy seeing what you have made. Have a great day. I love you. Riley, I like your "Dragon Eye". You did a great job with the white highlights on the pupil. It looks shiny. The lines in the yellow area make the eye glow. The shading on the rim looks excellent. You did a great job!!! Love, Grandma

Riley, It must have been fun to create such an interesting animal and the other pieces to go in your diorama. It looks like your animal is by the ocean. Ooooo Riley, may I have a piece of your delicious looking cake? It looks like it would taste yummy but my guess is I might find it a bit dry. You are very creative. The cake piece is so pretty. It must have taken you a long time to to make it, probably longer than it would take me to make a cake with flour, sugar, eggs and milk. I love you very much. Grandma

Riley, what a pretty bird you drew! Have you ever seen one that looks just like the one you drew? It looks like a nice warm day in your picture. It makes me think of summer when the sun shines a lot and the blue sky has white clouds in it. I see four other birds flying in your picture as well. We enjoy seeing lots of birds here in Florida. After seeing the beautiful colors, I looked at the snowflakes. Each one is different as is true of the snowflakes that fall from the sky. Riley, Ladder to the Moon is a very interesting picture. As you know I love looking at the moon, so now I can see it in your picture as well. Wouldn't it be lots of fun to climb to the moon? Riley, What a pretty pumpkin you made! I really like all of the zig-zag marks . Your pumpkin is such a pretty shade of orange. It must have taken a long time to make all of those dots in large and small sizes. I like the little green stem on the top too.
