Oh Samantha I absolutely love the depth you created with the different tints of green! I feel like I am at the bottom of a magical tree inviting me to climb up to the center of the sky for perhaps a surprise. You should have this framed!

Sammie, your drawing of a human (you) has shown improvement in the past year. I really like the hearts, music notes and the words you printed! I think you are listening to music on the phone? Hope you enjoy your art class this year .

Sammie, great 3D picture of your hand, wrist and arm and I like the colors you chose for them to stand out. Can you think of other objects you might try to make them seem they rise above the background. I am going to try a picture like you made using a different object. Hope you have a fun year in art class. It was my favorite class next to playing in band.

My Dear Sammie, I absolutely love your art project! Your choice of colors are bold and vibrant and catch the eye of any who appreciate art. The artist, Georgia O’Keeffe, was a very modern American artist and followed HER own rules for her paintings. Also your great grandmother, my mom, was a fan of O’Keeffe’s art work and she had a book about the artist and pictures of her paintings! Samantha Jo, I see that scary nightmare in your closet! And you must be sleeping in your ceiling high bed. I use to have nightmares too, but they all were not real. Just my brain trying to wake me up I think. Is it raining with thunder and lightning outside? You did a good job illustrating what a nightmare is like.

Your monster’s teeth are green and and so sharp looking. I like the layers of different colors you used for the monster’s head. You did well in placing his eyes where you did. It is like he or she is looking straight at me. Love GrandMoM B
