Sydney, What a fun mushroom shaped house. I would trick or treat there. So many clever details like your chimney animal and in-the-window friends. That spider web sure provides atmosphere. Is there such a thing as cozy and spooky? You have it captured! Happy Cats!

Your treasure map is so interesting. Not only does it include all of the various islands and sea serpents that are swimming in the ocean (with a plethora of details) it has the all important KEY at the bottom that helps the searcher solve the mystery. Well done!!!

Sydney, this is a lovely cityscape! It looks like a great place to visit; built right on the edge of the water. When I was on the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge last week I saw a view like that. You used perspective nicely in those tall buildings behind the front ones. The dark and light on the rock surfaces really make them stand out too. The rocks in the water are cool. This artwork reminds me of some of the coastal villages in Italy along the Mediterranean Sea. I love the high cliffs & the clear blue water. The residents' views from the windows must be beautiful!

Your Senufo mud cloth is really terrific! Did you learn a lot about the Senufo people who live in western Africa? It's always so interesting to find out about other people's cultures & art work.

Did you know that Paulus Potter was born almost 400 years ago in Amsterdam? The next time we are at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City we will definitely go see his original works. Potter also has other paintings in museums around the world! I love your Potter inspired cow. My favorite thing about it is that it friendly and delightful face! It appears that the cow is looking right at me and talking about something. Unfortunately, I don't speak "COW"!!!

Syd Great picture! I think it is Uncle Dave! He can keep all those balls in the air. He keeps his eye on the rainbow colored balls, just like that. I will have to get him a juggler's hat and shirt to match your picture. Such delightful Artwork! It makes me feel cheerful on this cold snowy day.

I love the expression on the court jester's face because he seems very happy that he's able to perform his juggling act! He's keeping his eyes on the balls as he tosses them up in the air, ensuring that he doesn't drop them - a very wise thing to do!

Sydney, This is so obviously Poseidon in his Realm. I like seeing through him and then seeing the sea horse and jelly fish on opposite sides of him. You are terrific at sea pictures. I remember your mermaids. Now we have their king. The gold crown and gold staff really caught my eye. The sea weed is definitely 3-D. Did you paint it on a separate page, cut it out and glue it on? The lighting effect is really unique on that yellow one. Intensely powerful! Wonderful work. Way to go, Sydney! Love, Nana

This stunning creature looks like many of the works of art at the Metropolitan Museum's Egyptian exhibit that we saw a few days ago in New York!

Sydney... Your Jeff Koons inspired dog balloon is awesome. You made her floating in the air, so light & buoyant as she parades down the street in the neighborhood. I loved the extra touches of hanging laundry and the string of lights - so creative!
