Oona, I love this! I recognized it immediately as the bridge in Monet’s gardens. People stop on this bridge all the time to get their pictures taken. You really captured the spirit of all the changing flowers and the water below. Even better, what a great self portrait. I would absolutely have recognized you even if I just saw the picture somewhere else. Maybe some day you and I can go there and you can sketch it from the shore.

I love this piece! The contrast between the white bulk of the polar bear and the color and visual texture of the sky is striking. The bear foregrounds and looks pure white until you see her against the white snow behind her then you realize she has depth and form. You're so talented Oona! I always love your art.
