Wow, Ev. That was a super challenging project & you’ve done a great job of blending to create form and depth. Your translucent tail is amazing! Bravo!

Your background watercolour is beautiful. Love the layering of colours! I’ve never heard of Notan, but it is quite interesting and powerful to have the strong black shapes in their negative and positive images on top of the pastel shades of your background. Very cool, Ev! ?

I love your lively use of colour, Ev. You created strong emotions on the faces in your drawing; very cool. The central figure is powerful and the wee pac man is fun. I wish I could see it in person.

Cool flamingo ??, Ev. I love the bright colours and the way you framed the sides of the image with palm trees. ???? I don’t know whether you did it on purpose or not, but the body of your flamingo reminds me of a conch shell, which is an interesting metaphor. Awesome!

It looks like someone may be looking forward to summer volleyball! Perhaps beach volleyball… Great perspective Ev. ??

Wow! That is so cool, Everleigh! I love all the different patterns that you picked out & used for your collage. It feels really well-balanced. My attention is drawn by the big blue paper clip first, but then my eyes start moving around & taking a journey through your whole picture.

I absolutely love this Everleigh. You need to have it framed.

Very cool, Ev! Was it fun to make?

Wow, Ev! This is so complex. There is so much to appreciate that I could happily look at it for a long time. Your red colouring on the mug does a great job of making it look curved, especially on the right side with the handle and your black shading in front of the mug really adds depth. Awesome! I like your Christmas designs too, with the snowman holding the Christmas tree. The collage elements, especially the way you did the steam with the cotton ball are super cool and I love your wee hearts on the tablecloth. Your hearts are like a special Ev touch in your artworks. It's amazing the way you've painted such a powerful background, but it doesn't compete with the mug of cocoa. I love looking at your artwork. Way to go, Ev!

This must’ve taking you a long time to do, Ev. There is so much detail in it. I especially love the details in the sky and the trees. I also love your vibrant use of colour in your water colour. ????

This is my new favourite of all your artwork, Ev. Can I have it? Pretty please with sugar on top? This is just too awesome for words. I love everything about it. ????????

That’s so cool, Ev! It makes me happy just looking at the contrasting colours and how love fills the page. I especially like the wee hearts by the letter O. Te amo, Cariño. ??

¡Vaya! That means, Wow! What a beautiful basket, Ev! It looks like it would’ve been really hard to weave. The colours are so striking and the contrast with the black feathers is gorgeous.

Love the symmetry and your use of colour, Ev! Is your skeleton a girl? I like the long eyelashes and tidy eyebrows; nice touch!

You show wonderful color balance here Everleigh. In fact, this reminds me of another famous painting by an expressionist. I hope you will continue to explore the wonderful of art and self-expression.

For me, the most distinctive element of Turner‘s art is always his treatment of the sky. Your sky reminds me of his skies, Cariño. You can get lost in those skies. You sense the presence of God in those skies. Beautiful.

I love this! Makes me hungry! I love your creativity. Great job peanut!

Your artwork always puts a smile on my face, senorita Everleigh. I love where you placed your plate, fork and napkin on your mat, so that I can still see the beautiful job you did weaving it. My favourite part is the food collage that you made. Do you remember learning that collage comes from the French word coller, which means to paste or to stick something onto something? When I look at this artwork, I just keep thinking, yummmmm bacon and eggs!! :-)

Were there pencils on your face mask, señorita? You drew & coloured an awesome pencil. Did you run out of time to write words around the outside of your face? I’d love to know what words you would use to describe yourself.

Love, love, LOVE the attitude with hand on hip, señotita Ev! She looks like she’s getting ready to do something, I don’t know what, but something! Maybe she’s getting ready to dance in all that colourful rain...& why not, eh?!

We’re you inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants, Ev? There is something very giggly about your emotions monster. I think he or she really, REALLY wants to be happy
