My initial thought when I saw your drawing was that this was a representation of a body of water on which it is raining rapidly and the multiple and simultaneous droplets are creating multidirectional ripples at a fast rate. It conveys movement.

Liam, I love the colors in this work; and the shapes of the gourds. The dots on the gourds are so orderly, while the background dots are all over the place. This is a great contrast, gives the work an eerie look!
