I like the background treatment. Makes me feel cold.

This is a good example of shading to add dimension to this oil pastel. Nice job.

Here are three things I really like about this: 1) I love the little hairlines all over his body 2) glints in the eyes are good 3) falling leaves add motion and a nice Fall feeling.

Spence, I like your drawing of a turkey. It looks like you chose a brown crayon for its breast and tan, green, red, and gray water color for its tail feathers. Great job! Love, Nana

Spence, I like how you have the big spider looking at the fly. It’s a good arrangement. I also like that the spider has eight legs.

Love how you have a large tree and then a smaller tree with a fence connecting the trees. You are good at art Spence!

I like the colors. Makes me think of fall. Did you get to pick out the colors yourself?

This is Wee. I see that your Fall tree picture has perspective. That means the biggest tree is in front. That is how it is supposed to be. The farther things are away means they get smaller. I like your color choices on the individual leaves.Come see us soon.

Dear Spence, this is Wee. I like that you made a school bus picture. I rode a yellow school bus until I was 16. I had to catch it by Nannie and Papa’s mailbox. It was often cold. The fun part was when the bus driver did big giant bumps on the bus.

Hi, Spence. This is Wee. I like that you made a bus picture. I rode a bus to school until I was 16. It was often cold standing up by Nannie and Papa’s mailbox where I had to wait for the bus. Sometimes it was fun to ride the bus. Especially when the driver did really big bumps.
