Whn I first looked at this, I had questions but upon reading your explanation, I understood and I love it. Great job Ben.

Interesting. Were you looking at a picture of yourself or in the mirror or did you work just from your mind? It's a good drawing of a person but I don't think it looks too much like you. Do you have Nike shirt like that?

Interesting choice. I think a mushroom design makes for a good Nature House. I does look a certain kind of mushroom I have seen in photos.

I am not familiar with this method of creating art. I guess you will have to explain it to me. I will say that if you are making art of money, 100 is better than 1 for sure.

Wasn’t sure at first whether an ice cream cake or hat. More I looked at it, decided it was a hat. Ben always dresses in style!

I have never had a slice of green pie with blue icing before. What flavor is it? I like that you have the pie on one of those elevate cake stands. Fancy.

Not sure if you are better at basketball, baseball or art??

That's pretty fancy, Ben. I was glad to see the explanation of the work as I was wondering why you chose to fraw a building like that. Great job. I love that you are learning about color, shading and all that stuff. I used to do art in school but I don't remember them teaching that stuff.

This one is pretty abstract which is different for you. I see it though. Very creative.

the more I look at "The Goat", the more I like it. You have captured movement in this image and I do like the way the colors blend. Not sure why you call it "the goat" though. It doesn't look like a goat nor does it look like Tom Brady.

Very creative. I Iike it.

I like this. The background is great. Did you name this one?

I like what you did here, taking the dark cutouts and rotating them to the outside of the square revealing the bright colored worlds underneath.
Posted 2 years ago by Grandpa

Ben’s art work always has a personal message. Not certain, but reminds me of beauty finding an escape from a juice/dark world.

Colors are attention getting. Saw one fish last week at lake, and identical shape and size!

Interesting. Makes a person think. For me, it represents life’s balance with all the angles and changes you face. Very good color scheme.

I always love getting to see new artwork from you and Stone too. One of the things I like is that you name your art and I am always left wondering why you name it what you do. So now I am wondering, why did you name this "Timmy"?
Posted 3 years ago by Grandpa

Ben, this is kind of eerie. Makes me think of a ghost. Is that what you were going for?
Posted 3 years ago by Melissa (Mother)

That's an interesting art project. I wish I could see the original. Did you name it "Johnny" for a reason or is that a random name?
Posted 3 years ago by Grandpa

Now you have me wondering why you call it "Luke". Love the colors.
Posted 4 years ago by Grandpa

Impressive To me, looks like a runway leading to stage with incredible background.
Posted 4 years ago by Bill

Yeah. I'm getting your artwork posts again. Until today I hadn't gotten any so far this school year. This one is great. I love the bold colors.

The way you used colors on the pumpkin gives it depth and helps define the shape. That's good work.
Posted 5 years ago by Grandpa Joel

This has me wondering how you did this. Did you do it at home or at school? I really get a Fall feeling from it.
