I have had so much fun looking at these black and white photos you took. I also learned much from your self-critique of these photos. I think I chose this one of the group to comment on because I like her contemplative look from the side. I note how the clouds are centered over her head, but that there is light underneath them. Super work, Isabella!

I love the perspective on this! Through the darker parts of darkness in our life, but then light comes out of the dark places. I have been there many times, waiting for the "Light" to come.

I LOVE this photo of your special pal! He is so cute and you did a wonderful job of catching a glimpse of his personality! I want to go through the photo and hug him! :-)

Woah, that's really well done. Good job on the textures... the hair and plastic!

That is so cool, Isabella! I didn't have any trouble knowing who that was! Did you use a photo to do it or memory? Do you like to work with charcoal? Or is this the first you have done it? I'm going to look at others too. I'm so glad that I received this link! Grandma Esther

I love this! The colors are so vibrant and your shading and texturing is awesome! Is this a place you visited?

Georgia O'Keefe was your great aunt Henrietta's favorite artist! She told me how once when she was driving from New York City to Los Angeles, she and her friends stopped in a town near Georgia's ranch. And when a local found out how much she loved Georgia O'Keefe's work, they encouraged her to drive to the ranch and introduce herself! She drove all the way to the entrance of O'Keefe's ranch, but then she said she just could not work up the courage to go to her house...She told me how she always regretted not being bold and introducing herself. Aunt Henrietta would have LOVED this piece too!

This is a really neat watercolor! Is this a lighthouse you have seen? I like how you created the texture of the road! It reminds me of how an artist friend of our used salt and watercolor to create those type of unique textures. :)

This is really pretty Bella. I like your color selections. The red really pops in contrast to the vibrant greens and blue. Keep up the good work!

Is this a self portrait or your sister? Love the smile and smiley eyes! :)

Such a neat illustration! The roses climbing remind me of your Uncle Bryn's favorite artist, Dali, particularly his painting with clocks.
