Wow! I'm amazed at how much you have learned in your art classes. This tile is wonderful, Sarah. I really like what it says. I am going to order a mug with this artwork on it and I'll use it when I'm teaching watercolor (I always like to have have a cup of coffee on my desk in the classroom) and when students ask about it I can tell them what good work you do). Love, Aunt Dot

Now that you're done with Dryden, you don't have to be done with Artsonia. Keep adding your masterpieces to your digital portfolio here! I'll join your fan club so I can see the wonderful things you make:) Play hard, sketch lightly!

Wow! Sarah. Are you really in fifth grade? not in high school? Your work is like a high school student's and that means you are really good for your age! I can say this because I taught art to fifth graders many, many years ago. Each one of those artists wished they could make things look real. And you've done that!! Good shading and proportion in this self portrait. Congratulations!! Aunt Dot

Great Work Sarah! You have made a fantastic abstract portrait. Your painting reminds me of Pablo Picasso's work. He lived in Spain and may have been the greatest abstract painter in the world. He also used shapes and patterns to suggest portraits of people. Have you been to the Art Institute? Do they have paintings by Picasso hanging there?

That is a great poster! Your drawings are really good and the way you placed the figures in a "C" shape makes the words easy to read. Are you going to color the palette, violin and that great, funny table? I hope so. I bet there will be music, art work and food at the Fine Arts Festival. Keep up the good work, Sarah. I love seeing what you are doing in art. Hugs and kisses, Aunt Dot
