Dear Amelia, I wrote a long comment but it disappeared! Maybe I checked it too soon? I’ll see if it appears before I write another one! Love, Grandma

Hi Amelia, Your drawing reminds me that our family week at the beach is getting closer! I love the four different colors you drew of the water. Is the white part a scared ghost? How did you decide to include that in your drawing? Someday I hope you’ll see Japan for yourself. It’s a beautiful country and very different from the United States. Put it on your bucket list! Love, Grandma

Dear Amelia, I love seeing your art projects- they’re always so colorful, but this desert scape makes me thirsty! Your turtle/tortoise/terrapin is so lifelike and shows motion as he lumbers across the sand. How did you learn to draw like that? Keep up your creative drawing! Love, Grandma

Oh my gosh, Amelia, I love her crossbody bag! Is it purple?- not sure of the color on my phone. I also love the little smile on her face. Was she on an Easter shopping spree? You have great ideas for your art! Keep your creative juices flowing! Love, Grandma

Dear Amelia, I love your Blue Bot and learned a lot about shading from reading about your art project and looking at your white and dark blue shading. To me, there's a lot of motion in your bot, too. How do you get such good ideas for your art work? Keep on drawing--you have a flair for it! Love, Grandma N.

I love the way you mixed the colors to get a rainbow background of pinks, purples, reds and blues.

Hi Amelia, I love your storybook and the fancy ending, too- “fin”, the end. C’est tres bien!! I bet everyone was excited to get your invitation-getting mail is lots of fun! What flavor was the cake you made for the party? It looks as if everyone had a very good time at your party. Congratulations on being such an imaginative hostess! You worked really hard to make sure everyone had fun! Love, Grandma N.
