This picture looks like it’s moving! It looks very much like Jen Stark’s murals. You did a good job! Way to get that orange color in there! ?? I’m proud of you buddy! ??, Aunt Sis

Okay, that’s three! Now I can order your mugs. This one reminds me of a lava lamp. Ask Mom to show you a picture of one.

Noah, the proportions of your bird are spot on. I love the way you blended the different browns in the wings, and is that yellow blended in with the green in the body? Nice job! Proud of you buddy! Aunt Sis
Posted 3 years ago by Melanie (fan)

Noah, are you giving me the bird???
Posted 3 years ago by Sue

I wondered when you were going to post new artwork. So far, I’ve only received one. When I get three, I order the mugs! It’s fun to have something with your name on it, isn’t it?

Wow! The first artwork of the fifth grade. This one is definitely cup worthy.
Posted 3 years ago by Sue

I really like this, Noah! The sun is so wide awake, and the moon is sooo sleepy. I love the colors that you chose for each half. Just in time for the lunar eclipse on October 14! Good job buddy! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for your artwork. ???? Aunt Sissy

Noah - this Really GOOD! I think this is cup worthy!! Do you???
Posted 3 years ago by Sue

This is really cool Noah. I like that Mrs. Meske gave everyone freedom to choose whatever color scheme they wanted. It is interesting to see your progression through the different colors. Did you have to tear each of those little tiny pieces by hand? No wonder this piece took a long time!. I love it! It will look great on a shirt. Great work buddy. love, Aunt Sis

I LOVE this! Surely it is cup worthy!

Nice job, Noah! I especially like the petals. That orange part is distinct but also blended. Do you like using those oil pastels? I can’t wait to see what you do next!

I’m glad your hair doesn’t really look like this! Why did you write your name across your forehead? Is this artwork cup worthy?
Posted 4 years ago by Sue

Ferd- I need to look this artist up as i am not familiar with his/her work. Is this one cup worthy? Remember we have this year and next year to collect cups, so be very choosy about the ones you want. Xoxo Mee Maw

Fantastic job on the pointillism Noah. I love how you have segmented the owls body into different colors. I have a question about the eyes popping out in two different directions ??. Is that the artist’s way of demonstrating that an owl can turn his head all the way around? Really fast?? ??
Posted 4 years ago by Aunt Sis and Nannie

Wow Noah, has this started already? I love your Owl, but why is his eye hanging out of its socket? Ha! Is this cup worthy? We are going to have to be very selective on mugs this year as you will have two full boxes by the end of fourth grade and we still have one more year to go! Maybe on some of them I should get you magnets instead of a mug. What do you think?
Posted 4 years ago by Sue

I thought I posted a comment already but I will do it again just in case. I love chickens… I know this is a rooster… But I still love it! Little grandma used to buy me all kinds of things with chickens on them. Will this be the last piece of artwork you make this year? I figure I have one more coming from Leah and then I can order 4 cups… Two yours two Leah’s
Posted 4 years ago by Sue

Lots of orange!! I would have known it was yours even if I hadn’t seen your name! I love the way you blended the colors on the body. I’ve actually seen orange chickens like this! Great job, buddy.
Posted 4 years ago by Aunt Sis

Oh I love chickens! Even though this is a rooster, I’m still sort of partial to it! Little grandma used to always buy me things with chickens on them. Is this the last artwork you will post for the year? I’m waiting for one more from Leah and then I can make my order

Noah this is great! Still life of vase and flowers! It even has a picture frame! Cool. My favorite thing is the leaves! You know what else I like? I like that your frame is built of segments of paper and not just long straight edges. It makes it feel very whimsical. I love it! A new magnet for my fridge!

You have an artistic eye, Noah! This is cup worthy! xoxoxox Mee Maw

Pretty cool, Noah. I’ll bet you make a lot of the same styles that Leah made when she was in the 3rd grade, but you can put your own flair into it! This one is cup worthy!!!!!!

Noah - this reminds me of cherry blossoms and apple blossoms. Makes me happy for spring!!!!

Oh Noah! I LOVE this! I think I love best your background colors, which compliment your snail perfectly. I think the use of background colors like that is very much like Georgia Okeeffe. You learned this lesson well, buddy! I’m very proud of you.

Noah, Shea said this looks pretty good; however, she thought it was a snake! Mee Maw thought it looked pretty good to; however, I knew it it was a shell!

Nicely done my dear! I had a mug made! Xoxoxo

Oh wow, Noah! You can do 3D too! That’s so cool! I’m really curious about how that is done. You will have to show me some day because I just can’t figure it out. Excellent example of Op Art. Good work, buddy! Love, Aunt Sis

This is way cool Noah and definitely going to be a mug

Noah, I only knew Jasper John’s artwork with the flags. So I could not understand how this was like a Jasper Johns picture until I did some more research on him, and found his ‘Numbers in Color’. You did an excellent job interpreting his work and making it your very own expression! Excellent job! Can’t wait to see what you do next! Love, Aunt Sissy

VERY interesting picture. There must be a story behind it, and I am anxious to hear all about it! I don't even know who this is, but it strikes me funny!

Are you still working on perspective? This is pretty cool Noah… It reminds me of fall and going to the pumpkin patch! Is this one cup worthy?

Noah this picture is great! So light hearted and fitting for the season! I can’t get over the perspective of the snowman! Did you learn that idea from studying another artist? You are going far with your art, buddy! I’m sure of it! Love , Aunt Sissy

Noah - I really really really liked this one! I wish I had a vase of those flowers!
Posted 6 years ago by Sue

I know you said not to put this one on a cup, but Mee Maw really really likes it!
Posted 6 years ago by Sue

Fantastic picture, Noah! Not only do the flowers really jump off the page, they are so bright and beautiful, but I love that you have two green colors, one so bright and one dark, contrasting against each other. A very fine example of what you have learned about Andy Warhol. Great job!

Noah- where is the Jaimoca Almond Fudge??? Yum yum! Your colors look like pistachio and chocolate chip mint!
Posted 6 years ago by Sue

This is pretty cool, Noah! I ate fish for dinner last night, but it wasn’t as pretty as your fish. I’ll order another cup! I love you Mee Maw
Posted 6 years ago by Sue

Noah I have orDerek cups with all of your art work on them. I think my favorite is the one you did as a self portrait. At least I think it was a self portrait. You were going to have a wonderful collection to look at when you grow up. And every time you serve your friends a cup of coffee or hot chocolate or tea, you can say I designed that work when I was in the second grade! I am very proud of you!

I meant Dali....not Picasso!

Hi Noah! I totally LOVE this picture. Right away I thought of a dandelion flower that you make a wish on, then I saw that's what you named the picture!! Wish flower! Great idea! The dots on the ends of the little stems make this such a unique picture. You know what i also really like? That the flower itself is not in the exact middle of the frame. Very good perspective. Great job! Love, Aunt Sis
