Just love, love love this cardinal! How did u know u were supposed to put your main subject to either side…..and not smack dab center??? I didn’t learn that trick till I was 60 something. Unsure r smart & creative! That warms my heart!

Spooky guy/girl! Love the background, the hair on top, eyeballs, & can’t pass up the teeth! So glad your spooky thing had braces to straighten its teeth. Super neat big chin & small sweet heart nose. My side of the family has never had small noses….ha ha! Nice goblin!

Alyssa……how did u know I love birds?!?!!!! Cardinals especially are popular birds! They say there is an Angel around when u see a cardinal! In this case, a very special Angel created one on paper at her Rough Hollow art class!!! Love it to pieces!!! Way to go!!! MiMi

This is an interesting portrait of someone. I hope it’s not me! My hairs red now & my hair is short. But I do like her eyes & all the lashes you included. Noses and lips are always hard to draw. Maybe we can practice those when I get back to TX. You can show me what you learned.

I love the colors you used on this picture. Using a happy face is always a good idea. I wonder how you made it washed with different colors. I think you might have used a sponge. You’ll have to share your technique with me when I get back to Texas.
