Hey Evelyn ~Nice job on your 'one point perspective' artwork. I see you included your favorite treat (Dunkin Donuts) and a popular retail store (Target). Love the mural on the side of the art shop (creative!) as well as the high-rise building. Could that be a hotel? I think your picture invites you to drive through the area on your way to where ever you're going on a bright and sunny day. Love it!

Great job on your island, Evelyn. It has a little bit of everything of what you'd want or expect to to see. It's almost like an adventureland. I wonder if the cat series books that you are reading had anything to do with some of the names of areas on your island. I find it interesting that your home is a tree house and that the road is called 'Sunset Road' which is the name of our road. Love the details you put in. How do we get there?!

Evelyn - looks like you got right down to work with your creative side. Love all the colors you chose for your aboriginal art piece. My eyes go to each color pattern, individually or as a combined look. Your artwork flows and is fun to follow! This might be fun as a wallpaper border for your bedroom. I like the bright background color you chose! I wonder if you were looking at a picture of someone while creating their cartoon character. You have a good sense of proportion while creating her freehand like that. The darker hairline outline really shows off her hair style, too. Looks like a fun project that you did great on!

I love your Zentangle artwork! I'd really like to know how long it took you to create and finish this. It's quite amazing with so much detail in it. I look forward to hearing more about this masterpiece!

This is a fun portrait of you, Evie. You painted a picture that tells me that you're into Pokeman and were involved in soccer. It also tells me where you live (Naperville). I find it interesting that your eyes are looking to the side as if you are thinking of something and, in real life, you truly are a creative thinker. The picture really looks like you, Evie, with your hair tucked behind your ears like you do and your shoes as I remember them. Great attention to detail!

Wow, Evelyn, I like your Pop Art choice! It pops right out at you and makes you want to see more. It must have been fun making this. I wonder if the Kit Kat bar is your favorite candybar? It certainly looks like the wrapper. Great job!

You've got all the corners covered, Evelyn. Great job on using circles, squares, rectangles, lines (even squiggly lines), open spaces and overlays in your picture. Its the perfect example of abstract art. Because of the many colors you chose, it keeps your attention and I want to look at it over and over again. Nice work!

What a great job! I had to smile at your imaginative version of American Gothic. I absolutely love it.... a perfect mix of the farmer couple and what you like to eat complete with eyes, arms, a cherry on top and a pitchfork. Nice work!

Wow, Evelyn...is that a rainbow ice cream cone with 4 rainbow cherries on top? I want a bite of that. I like rainbow ice cream, too, because you get more than one flavor. I also like rainbow sherbet. Yum!

Evelyn, this was a great message for everyone not to throw their garbage anywhere but in a trashcan. I see you like to see and keep your parks clean. We all like to see that. Even the owl in the tree who's looking down on the girl sitting on the picnic blanket. Great job coloring!

That bee has really caught your eye, Evie. I love that you like to put the sun in your pictures. It reflects you and your 'sunny' nature nicely.
