Andrew, Your artwork is wonderful! I would love for you to tell me all of the things that you put in what I think is a self-portrait. What do the numbers represent, for example? We are in Uganda at this amazing national park. We saw elephants today, along with lots of baboons and chimpanzees. I read that you and your dad are having a great time in Iowa. I wish I was there with you! All my love to you and Colin.

Hi Artist Andrew, This looks to me like a piece of abstract art. I like the colors that you incorporate into your work, and the way you included the words "Old Miss". Andrew, I love this picture of Switzerland that you created! It brings back memories of when Uncle Gregg and I lived in Leysin. We rode the trains all the time; in fact, it was our only means of transportation because we did not own a car. I hope you get to visit Switzerland and ride their trains. Thanks for sharing! Andrew, This is such a unique and interesting cake. It seems so real that I could cut a piece and eat it! I like your color scheme, as you chose deep, rich ones that I don't always associate with a cake. The black that surrounds the cake top really adds depth to your cake. This is another one that I must have missed when it was initially posted. I love this! It reminds me of October and Halloween. I love your color scheme. I don’t necessarily equate purple with pumpkins, but using it as the sky backdrop was a great artistic decision. And I also really like the yellow spots in the sky. It adds some texture and make it more visually appealing. I also love the form of your pumpkins as they are very realistic. Well done! Aunt Amy

Somehow I missed this when it was originally posted. Wow! This piece is one of my favorites of all you have created this year. I love the white specks; it reminds me of a winter night in Iowa. Hi Andrew, This is a colorful piece of art. I am guessing that the artist you were studying used dots and that you are inspired by some of her own pieces of art. I like how the heart is at the focus yet the backdrop of multiple dots in various colors is so visually appealing. It must have taken a lot of time to include so many dots! Aunt Amy
