This one is one of my favorites! They look like crowded bubbly tubes or something made out of colorful toothpaste. Either way, I have a hard time looking away because they look so cool.

Great job on this one, Amanda. Aside from being a really good drawing, it sends a strong message. The orangutan family (and the viewer) are left in the wake of the damage of deforestation as we see the excavator in the background continuing to destroy their home. I also like the orangutan mama's body language, like she's sadly showing the viewer the damage and asking, "why are you doing this to us?"

I love this one, Amanda! I had never heard of the term tessellation. I think you did a great job in creating a tessellation with a non-geometric shape. Very original!

I love this drawing. It reminds me of those Asian landscape paintings of endless mountains and scenery. I especially like the trees. They really stand out with patterns that bring them to life.

Amanda, this sneaker is actually pretty good for being a blind contour! Love it.

Great job once again, Amanda! Emphasis and Contrast are also my favorite. I love the black, white, and red.

I agree that your images of 'emphasis' and 'contrast' best represent the meaning of those words. The red umbrella sticks out like a sore thumb, and there is no greater contrast than that between the colors black and white. Yet my favorite is 'proportion.' I am a fan of beautiful scenery and bright colors, as I have a simple taste for art.

Wow, Amanda, you are so talented! You drew excellent representations of each term. My favorite is value. That hand truly looks 3D. I love it!
