My parents had a picture that looks like this when I was a child (that's been a while ago.) I always loved looking at it. Thank you for bringing back the enjoyable memories! Mimi Pauline

Kailee, I was so happy to see you Sunday. When I got the notice about new art work by you I was happy about that too. This is a fantastic piece of art work. It is simply beautiful. I love the way you used the different colors in the water. Is that Coronado Island in the background? I have missed seeing your work. Keep doing them and posting them. Love, Miss Goldie

Kailee, I really like your Countryside painting. It looks like some photos that someone sent me of some farms back East that looked like that. They had planted sections in different colored flowers like in your picture. Very good job. Love,

Kailee, What an interesting abstract. Did you use just paint or chalk? It looks like you might have sprinkled some small colored objects in the picture. I hear you are going on a trip with Grammy and Grampy. Have fun and get some ideas for some paintings you can do when you get back home. Love,

This is fun....trying to figure out what the artist sees!!!! Red-eyed green worms? Floating green algae? Ozone level rain drops? Microscoptic simple celled sea life? Free form leaves? Gummy bears? Let me know! It's a Picasso!!!! French art at its best! It's a beautiful swirl of defined form and shaded backdrop.....I like it! See you soon! Love from Grand Ma and Grand Papa

Kailee, I love your prairie dog. I remember as a kid seeing prairie dogs running all along the roads in Nebraska. They are one of my favorite animals. Do you remember when we studied them when you were in my class? Years ago the zoo had a big prairie dog town over where the elephants used to be. I think they have meerkats there now. But when they had the prairie dog town that was always one place I had to go every time we went to the zoo. You are doing such great art work. Keep up the good work. Love, Miss Goldie
- on April 24, 2011
Hi Kailee-- Beautiful job!!! When you draw animals, you capture their essence. The prairie dog's eye is so soulful. It's almost like he knows he & his friends are disappearing. The message is very powerful.
