Nathan........these are the pieces of your artwork I really enjoy; the "perspective". Is that the surface of a planet you discovered or it's really a bowling ball with one the finger holes near top of ball? GREAT JOB.........!

Nathan, this picture reminds me of the many many winters we spent in Alaska. Every spring we all waited for the snow to melt so the spring we hoped for would arrive quickly! Good job presenting the dream!

Looking at all your art work I focus in on the piece showing "Ladder Against Wall". Again I think you hit the ball out of the ballpark. A home run for you...............SUPERB PaPa L

Nathan, I have not been keeping up with your art work so today I'll be reviewing all your new projects. As I have stated before you are very good in creating great pieces of art. This piece "The Fish" is what I consider one of your best works. Is that an Angel Fish? I like your capture of the detail which makes the art work more than just one dimensional; a flat fish on top of flat piece of paper. I see it moving through the water with you capturing the water movement ahead of the fish as it moves through it's environment. Great job and keep at it. Your creativeness again is outstanding. LOVE YA....Papa

Nathan, your latest painting really speaks to me. As you may know, the color scheme is one I love and have used in our home. The energy and movement I see in this painting is amazing to me. However, I could never hang it in my bedroom as I would never sleep for looking at the picture. I continue to see different things every time I look at it. Great job!

Nathan, it looks so much like the fish we saw in Hawaii! We did have a great visit, didn’t we! I love the texture the glue adds.

Really like the subject matter although it took me awhile to see what was the subject. I think it was the many shadows and lines on the leaf and rock that confused me. Did not know you would be using a camera for some of your art work. Great thinking to come up with such a natural subject. Good camera technic capturing the subject matter from the above position. Great work...! Have fun..!

Hey NATHAN................... You only have 4 fingers showing in your artwork. YES U DO....!!!! 4 FINGERS and \\\\\\\\\\\1 THUMB////////// Really like this one; the lines as they run over the hand........right on.

Nathan..........This one is also one of my favorites, however, this grandfather no longer climbs ladders.......... :o(

Great showing of your drums. Now all it needs is the name of your first rock'in roll/pop/jazz band you start. You are ready for 2 careers; an ARTIST, and a BAND LEADER. Band NAME think might be "NATHAN & THE ROLLERS". Sounds good to me...... o)

Looking at your entire workbook, this is one of my favorites. Great interpretation of your trees...!!!

NATHAN................. I like this drawing or sketch very much. You have truly captured the vertical layout of the subject. The perspective you have taken (one strap on top of the next) in your artwork, and the angles, shading, and shadowing indicate to me that you are putting into practice what you have learned. Keep at it.............U R GOOD...!

Hi Nathan..................Great...Great.....Love your dog....very true depiction of a doggie in tall grass. Make the grass one short stroke at a time in downward motion, lots of times lots of motion. Try it out once before next artwork piece. I feel as a 7th grader your artwork is excellent and I hope you continue to have fun expressing what you feel and think about onto paper. Example, take a tree next door at home, draw all of tree. I took art classes in college (charcoal pencil & water colors) and was known as Vincent Van Lash (Gogh). Not true, but art was good. Check him out @ Vincent Van Gogh Paintings. Luv Ya !!!

Love this picture as it looks so much like SweetTea. I can almost hear her bark! The open mouth gives the impression that she may be smiling at us.

Hey Nathan..........! The artwork is "GREAT", "OUTSTANDING", and "SUPERIOR" to the many pieces of artworks I have seen in the USA as well as in Europe. Keep up the wonderful work you are doing. You definitely have a calling for ART; the simple ladder, the shadow, the shading, as well as the perspective you have in creating that artwork is so exact and amazing (on my scale of 1 to 10 you are a 25).

You definitely are my mom’s great-grandson! Now we know where all the art talent went. Keep on drawing the world as you see it, but don’t forget your love of drums, either!
