A mosaic is what this would be called, I'm thinking. I haven't seen one in years though. That form of art was popular when I was a teenager.

A wave at sunset, or sunrise but I'm thinking sunset. I love the colours you've used, and the way they are blended. Super painting!

I thought it was a very fat house mouse, but then I saw the ivories. (wink wink)

This one blows my mind! Such detail and personality! It's well placed on the paper too. A giraffe, if I'm not mistaken in recognizing that head...or a camel maybe? It's beautiful! I also showed PopPop... he said, "Oh wow!!" And PopPop rarely says, "Oh wow!!" :)

Video game...very nice perspective. And foreground, middle-ground and background; great balance. It looks like a beach scene. And a giant sun and some clouds. Makes me anxious for Summer. I love you! And miss you!

Valentines Day... Candy hearts. When I was in grade school, we would sometimes put one on our friends desks. Good job with the 3-D aspect and shading. Do you remember when we used to draw together when you were little? I miss that! I'm glad you are still doing art.

You're learning about complementary colours years and years before it ever sunk in for me. I got it now though, and I've been trying it out. i have to say, it makes sense.

The Grinch who stole Christmas ... sweet. Very nice. Love it!

Holy cow! This is beautiful! Your Uncle Rob's mom takes close up photos of snowflakes and your art reminds me of her stuff because of the beautiful detail. Snowflakes are delicate creations. Hard to think how many are needed to make a snowball, or to cover a mountain!

Reminds me of my friend Susan who had a Volkswagen Beetle back in the early 1970's; it was bright yellow with a black interior so it was easy to find in a parking lot :)

I always like to see your artwork. I make sure that PopPop sees it too. You chose some great colours here. Even when the colour is blue there are so many shades and tints. And some are leaning toward purplish red and some lean toward purplish blue. Good eye! Tune in another day for more "Art Talk From Grandma".

This is really one of the best pieces of art that you've done, Wyatt. Hardly anyone talks about the rabbits who don't have 20-20 vision. Not every rabbit can see perfectly. Some need glasses or contacts, I'm sure. Thank you for making this plain for us to see. ;) I love this!

This is Meera! She just has a lot of colour; more than people normally see, ....and clearly you love her very much.

Very nice work! It reminds me of a snowflake. It makes me think you might have had some snow on the ground lately.

Oh my! Wyatt, very fancy and beautiful work. You're inspiring me! I started drawing a lot more lately. I was doing a lot of painting, but now decided to get out my coloured pencils and draw again. Keep going, Wyatt!

Wow! Wyatt, this is a beautiful design!

You definitely got the Yayoi Kusama vibe and it looks great!

Most people would make the first letter of their name the biggest when doing a project like this. You've turned the art world upside down by making the middle letter the biggest ! When you and Cole visit or if I can visit you, we HAVE to paint rocks together!

Now this could be the "After" photo. First I'm behind a window, and then I see this outside beyong the window. Everything looks clearer but the subject remains a farm with cows (for me) I can now walk over and call them to the fence, so I can pet them and feed them grass and linden leaves because there just HAS to be linden leaves! Cows love them.

And this one is a unique concept, and it tells this story to me: "I'm on a shaded porch on a nice sunny day looking out at what I see as a big farm. I'm looking through a beautifully carved and polished window. I know that there are cows on that farm too."

WoW! I could probably look at this one and imagine all sorts of cool things going on. It's nice that you told a story with it but each person who looks at it might have a different story. That is the most beautiful thing about art!

This photo gives me a feeling of being inside but wanting to be outside, and maybe I can't for some reason. Maybe I have work to do first or I'm sick. . . (using my imagination)

This one is my second favourite photo! The light you captured works beautifully with the bark of the tree. Very unique and pretty. Love that fuzziness again.
- Grandma(fan) on November 4, 2020

Of your photographs, this is my favourite one! It's perfectly clear in the centre and then around it, it gets fuzzy and soft. Nice effect!

This looks like one of Auntie Sarah's favourite foods. The dill pickle! With eyes and an entire face! And arms!! You gave Pickleperson a Santa hat!
- Grandma(fan) on November 4, 2020

Nice snowperson. I like the hat and scarf especially! You can draw carrots better than I !!!

Okay, this one is another of my favourites! Again, the composition is perfect and the use of spirals and circles give this piece continuity. You have used the sun as the main focal point, because of its size, its placement on the page and its colours! Three dimensions too: foreground, middle-ground and background. Nice work.

I like how you've used mostly squares and rectangles in this one and the colour patters really stand out too. Great composition!
