What a good flag! Grandpa and I had to research to figure out to which country it belonged. Good job on drawing the Great Wall. Today I learned something from your art.

These pictures are so colorful. How did you make your city? It looks like a big stamp. The watercolors behind the city make it look like the city is sitting on a river and the sun is rising behind it.

What a striking picture especially the red sun! It looks like you did part paper collage and part paint. The designs on the tree are all different and imaginative. I bet you had so much fun creating this picture.

What an interesting painting. I see fish, kelp, and seaweed. Is there an octopus or jellyfish in your painting?

My goodness, you've been busy. This reminds me of a planet surrounded by stars or maybe the sun or moon during an eclipse.

What a surprise this picture is. I like what happens when you open this picture up and see how many things you are thinking about. I should not be surprised though, because I know how creative and imaginative you are.

What a cute colorful snail. She seems to be winking at us - like she has a secret she wants to tell us. What do you think that secret could be?

I am intrigued. Did you make this with a stamp or by scraping away the background or did you learn how to make a print? Can you explain how you made it the next time we see you? Maybe we can make one together.

This reminds me of a very colorful rainbow. I like the way you shaded the colors in each of the letters. Was it hard to write your name backwards?

What a lovely self portrait! We know how creative and fun you are, but we never suspected how many different things you are thinking about until we saw your picture of what's going on inside your head. Wow!

I see that your favorite part of your artwork is the tree. Do you know what my favorite part is? It's what's under the tree. And the wreath on the door. And the fire in the fireplace. And the flower on the shelf. And the cat in the window. But mostly it's what's under the tree. Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!

Your picture of the northern lights is just beautiful. I've only seen them once, but you really captured how they look. I hope that you are able to see them sometime in the future.

These pictures are so bright and cheery. Your flower looks like a poinsettia. I like the splashes of blue around it. And your home must be a very fun and joyful place!

I like your cool drawing. Are those cactuses in the background? I think I also see hills. I like her big eyes and the fact that her checks are different as well. Her mouth almost looks like a flower. Very imaginative.

This is a very intricate design. It makes me think of a checker board or a chess board or maybe a very warm blanket.

How neat! This picture is both scary with the bats flying through the air and pretty with the moon and flying colorful leaves.

Oh no! It looks like a poor kitty is stuck in a haunted house with 2 spooky ghosts and Frankenstein! Will the kitty be able to escape?

I love to see lilies on lily pads. I especially like the little fish. He seems to be winking at us. Monet is one of my favorite artists. Did you get to see other Monet paintings before you painted this? We need to go to the art museum this summer and see what other Monet pictures we can find there.

That's a lot of different kinds of dogs. I can tell you like dogs. I think they are glad you gave them food and a bone to eat because they look happy.

I think this picture looks like you. Especially her great big smile and her shirt with the heart. Have you ever dyed your hair different colors with kool-aid?

What an interesting cat! I'd never heard of Laurel Burch cats before. Their eyes are so big, and they both look so happy. I especially like the little kitten. Do you think Zoey's Sassafras looks like the big cat?

What a pretty dream catcher with the colored beads and feathers. Have you ever made a dream catcher? What kinds of dreams do you have?

Those are four very different snowmen. Sometimes I feel like the sleepy one. Sometimes I feel like the angry one. Sometimes I feel like the studious one. Sometimes I feel like the happy one. Right now I feel like the happy one - it's snowing outside and Christmas is almost here! Which one do you feel like?

Wow! The red, white and blue colors almost make this look like a folded American flag. Or it could be blue and red pencils all pointing to the middle of the drawing. What do you see when you look at it?

Wow, we like your birds! They look like they are having fun singing outside. Is that a green baby bird on a leash?

Did you take a picture of a tree in your neighborhood or is this a picture from school? The cherries look so good. They remind me of cherry ?? pie. Cherry pie is one of my favorite pies. Grandpa likes apple pie. What is your favorite pie?

What a fascinating landscape. When I was a little girl, my family and I would go camping in Colorado. This looks like it could be the Rocky Mountains in Colorado where we camped. It would be so dark you could see so many stars and shooting stars in the night sky.

What a bright shiny red fish. How did you make the nice texture on your fish. Do you think you will catch a fish like this one when you go fishing this summer? I hope you do.

I love it! Your mad scientist has a pad and pens and pencils in her pockets! Are those molecules in the background with the beakers? She looks like she enjoys science very much.
