Declan- you worked so hard on this! Definitely a demonstration of patience in figuring out what would work and a lot of what would not, and then building the base slowly and slowly. The photo doesn't do the final piece justice and you did a great job emulating the original artist. You worked with a lot of new media and made it work. I'm proud to have this on display in our home!

I like that the colors are so bright on this drawing! The music lines up perfectly to have both the mountains alive with music but also the bird hanging out in the tree. I also appreciate that you made the sun orange and yellow, leaving that still up for debate (what color the sun is ;).

I love the strong colors in this, especially the abundance of jewel tones, my favorite! I can see your blending starting to get better in this piece and could be a fun technique to try even bigger for a home project!

it is clear you spent a lot of time and detail on this piece! I can see so many things in this that represent you... use of lots of color, rainbows, cats, Tost, Floofs, cheese burger... it's like a seek and find about you!!

This is a great representation from our vacation of the cats in Rome! just soaking up the sun (or hiding from tourists). I like the combination of brush strokes for the columns and then pointillism for the sun rays, it creates a sort of feel of sun sparks and movement!

The nesting kitties are absolutely adorable! I like that they are like a little cuddle puzzle! You did a nice job conceptualizing what you wanted to make and how they might all fit together in the tiny cat bed!

nicely done creating depth in this piece! I like the color selection and your line work really creates a good visual illusion of movement, like I could be reaching into that point!

I love Kitty's friend, Kitty! You did such a nice job balancing out the size progression and digression in this piece. Such a great example of execution and a very thoughtful gift. I'm always so impressed with how you think crochet projects through and create them without a pattern, so impressive!
