Artist Statement (uploaded from my Mom’s phone): I loved making the felt Llama zipper pouch because I enjoyed sewing the intricate stitches and making a functional and joyful creation for my friend. This was a fun craft to do at home that I wish I could’ve shown you in person.

This picture reminds me of us trick ‘o treating together and the special moments that we have shared creating masterpieces. The emotion that you’re feeling is coming across to me in your drawing which is brilliant. I love to see that fire within you and the passion for creating a personal and meaningful expression on paper. You know that I adore art, but I also adore you my gem. Perhaps my favorite part of this piece was the materials that you chose as the sheen of the paper gave the pumpkin a lustrous and almost luminous appearance. The timing of this creation couldn’t have been more perfect as we added it to our Halloween portfolio. Bravo!
