This reminds me of the aquarium we went to in South Carolina! Did you remember that while you did this art project?

Ooooooh, this is a really cool art project. I've never seen perspective used in an aquarium scene, but it is perfect. My eye is drawn through the scene as the perspective lines travel back. Do you remember ever being in a walk through aquarium like this?

That large setting sun at the horizon is just like it looks at the end of a day. You designed the sky well, all pinky red from that setting sun. I can hear your waterfall as it flows since you made it a focus of your artwork. Isn't it funny how your mind can hear sounds from a painting? Makes me want to sit under one of the trees for a while. I can tell you've paid attention to the world around you when you've been outside.

Hey Grace. I like this piece of art. Use of clay is a different medium. Your title, Color Rush, fits the looks of the piece. Of course you would think to connect art with football, LOL.

What a cool clip using artwork that was created by your group. I can hear in my mind the splash that the waves are making as the whale swims around. I would love to be in a boat watching this from the ocean. With the colors in the sky, I'm wondering if this is sunset?

I love this project. Your color selection was so perfect for it- seems like colors I've seen in other Navajo weavings. Did it remind you a little of the finger crochet we've done before? I think I see that you used different types of weaving in your rug. Cool that you learned about another culture as well.

Grace, I LOVE owl!!! And I read that you painted on paper bag paper. I agree with you that the blue and yellow go well together. Owl's personality seems to jump out from your picture.

Grace, did watching and feeding our koi help you with this art project. I LOVE the way you have pictured their bodies bending as they swim. That is exactly how they look, right?

Wow, Grace, this is so cool. Do I see that your robot's name is Jimmy? What is he made of? What things can you imagine he can do? You seem to have great imagination in your art creations.

I LOVE your fox, Jimmy Jr. He looks sly just like a fox should. You wil have to write a story to go along with his picture.

This looks like a picture of what you might see under a microscope. I like how the large round parts are only partly there. Makes you mind guess what it looks like if the paper were larger. Your color choices are bright and eye catching.

Grace, your art is amazing. This watercolor snowflake is so colorful. How did you get the shape for your snowflake?

Cardinals are a favorite in your family. These are enjoying the snowfall I see. I like how the snow is catching on the tree branches as it falls.

What a pretty blue and green leaf. I see it has veins just like a real leaf would have. Makes it look real. Did you have a pattern to use to cut out its shape, or did you just cut it out?

What a lovely sunflower, Grace. This looks like it was a fun project. Your cousin Alison would love it too since sunflowers are her favorite. It looks like you tore the orange paper to make the petals look feathery. Am I right?
