Love the dots which make this art piece festive and dynamic.

Very creative with clay, which can be challenging to work with. Your creation looks so much better than my 6th grade effort at making a clay box. This is ready for your jewelry!

This reminds me of the Sacred Heart of which I have a small collection. I love Christmas too, and the heart symbolizes love of family especially at this time of year. Nice ethereal colors.

Emma, I love snow, too! Your artwork makes me love snow even more. Can't wait to see you for Christmas!

I've always liked black and white geometric drawings. Would make a Great Wall hanging!

A sloth for that laid back peaceful side of you! Matches your room.

This reminds me of you. Yellow for the sunshine, purple a favorite color, red and orange for your fiery and enthusiastic attitude and green my favorite color and a gift from God!

This artwork would make a beautiful memory Christmas ornament to enjoy every year.

I loved the giraffe. The dots are such a cool idea! I'd love for you to make a sloth the same way.

Nice color choices and technique. Some great artists have used the technique of pointillism as part of the Expressionist art movement. It is an important technique and I am glad you are learning it. When you have a chance, look at Suerat’s Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. Hopefully you will have a chance to see it for yourself someday. It is one of my favorite art pieces.

Love your new art, Emma, especially your positive message about family. This reminds me of the work of one of my favorite artists. Did you learn about Keith Haring in school?

I love the colors you chose for this piece. It may be my favorite so far.

This piece reminds me of some concept art for a science fiction film. You did an excellent job of taking something familiar and making it seem odd or new.

I am impressed with the 3D look of your aquarium. Great piece of art!

This looks like a very close up view of a bird's eye with all the colorful feathers that surround its eye. Nice choice of colors for the composition.

Nice shading. I can definitely see the location of the light source.

Good detail on the human form. I also like the imaginary view of the trees. Art does not always have to look like real life, and this almost looks like a dream might look.

Of course you would draw a sloth! I know you love them. It looks happy to be in the tree.

My favorite part of the t-shirt is the sleeve with the burger and taco. I would add those to my drawing too! Tacos rule!

Nice execution of perspective. I would be a little scared of going through this tunnel and possibly seeing a shark in real life, but I like that the octopus is smiling. It looks friendly!

I like the sloth up close. I like the details of her face.

The pig picture is so cute!

I really like this one. The perspective makes me feel like I'm actually at the aquarium. I love your use of color and size!
