Dear Andrew, Wow - this dragon fly has literally consumed a whole bottle of that Green smoothie drink at Panera Bread! The color intensity is so clean but very deep - good job! And how in the world did you think of making the grass as the background rather than just drawing it as a small line on the bottom of the page like most kids do? That part is so advanced of art! It reminds me of the beautiful clean and professionally tailor golf courses that have the edges of the long grass on the side, but no weeds, no branches, only the pure grass! And you might not know this Andrew, but in art the elements of "odd" number objects is more pleasing to the eye than even, unless its symetrical. So good job because you have three items, the dragonfly and 2 flowers - so 1 +2 = 3! I absolutely love that the dragonflies tail as very distinct lines that are deeply contrasting so that I can literally feel when one scale ends and the other one begins, because like insects, their feeling of the slipppery skin is what you want to convey. Dear Andrew, Oh my goodness! This is so powerful of a drawing! I just want to run and jump into the leaves! The color of red and light blue is so amazing - its as if the color pop off the page and that I can feel the big mound of leaves. And how did you know how to draw leaves so that they look like they are moving? This is incredible! You're drawings are so amazing in detail and are both big and tiny which adds character and makes me want to look at it for a longer time! Its like eating cereal and milk, when the cereal runs out and I still have milk, I just want to add more cereal to keep eating up! I love you! In God's Love, Mama
