Hi Leah! We loved the way you drew your eyes- they kind of pop out at the observer! Such attractive eyelashes you have! We also love your luscious cheeks! You gave your hair a nice texture with the charcoal pencil! Most of the time we use lots of different colors in our pictures- we like your mostly black and white effect. Is it Halloween? Dear Leah, What an awesome representation of a spring day for a child. It took me back in time when I could remember walking to school with my umbrella ( not as colorful and beautiful as the one in your drawing) and the rain pouring down like cats and dogs. To this day I think about being a little anxious walking surrounded by dark skies and a burst of lightning! I remember seeing many boys wearing these yellow rain repellent coats, like the one in your picture. I also remember the rain attracting lots of insects, similar to the bugs in your picture. As I walked to school, I would admire many colorful flowers along the way. Thank you for bringing back childhood memories. Love, Moppy ( Janie)
